    Apparently. Story is born to both filipino parents. They separated. Mom took James with him to Australia. Thats what I read so far.

    ineligible.. among the half foreign players of dlsu, only bates is eligible

    Bates has the height, heft and adequate mobility that can make him servicable in international competition. But the thing is player development is something LaSalle sucks in, that is why I hope after he graduates he falls to some team with a good staff that can help him improve.

    Zach Salazar is now in UP studying a pre-med course to pursue his actual dream of becoming a doctor. Basketball was more of something he was thrust into because of his height.

    It would require a passport before leaving for Australia then. (if what you have read is reliable though). Hope we don't fall for false hopes again...

    no, you can go to Australia using PH passport. You need a VISA. also, I know AU citizens(of PH heritage), who goes back to PH to give birth because more people will help them there. That does not make their child a Filipino citizen.
