Things are improving for the Iranians, finally! Hadadi with his third 2 + 1.

Easy win for Croatia, but getting only 3 free throws for the whole game is a surprising stat.

                +34 at the end

nice final action by Ukić and Rudež..
Rudež played his first minutes on the game and did well..
he could be our secret weapon against Spain but I doubt Repeša will use him in that game..
                Planinić and Popović didn't played..
anyway, Spain it is for us..
our last two official games against them were quite interesting..
first that famous game in Belgrade which ended how it ended.. Tomas is now 3 years older, I doubt he will lose ball like he did back then (foul or no foul)..
and last year in Spain we won with a buzzer beater by Tomas from downtown..
most important thing for us is to have Planinić back..
I doubt Popović will make it..
we will play relaxed since quarterfinals were our goal before the start..
first two games we were great for 3 point, second two games pretty bad, then good today..
I think the path is clear, we will have a great shooting day in quarterfinals and then I wouldn't mind if we would have a bad day in semifinals

today Iran played very bad, especially in first half. without any motivation !

Haddadi did his duty, but he is really tired. he played near 40 mins in every matches.

today Nikkhah was the best of iranian players, but he plays selfish sometimes , especially after death of Aidin. today he missed many shots ! anyway, according to rumors , he will play next season in french league !

                    Cholet I think..
he was 0/8 beyond the arc today

yeah, Cholet, he confirmed it himself

Samad Nikkhah Bahrami signed a contract with Cholet. Iran’s basketball player told Mehr News Agency, “I always want to play in one of the professional leagues in Europe. Cholet is one of the good teams in Europe.“
Cholet which stood 6th in the previous round of the French Basketball League will participate in European League.
“Adapting to a new situation and with new teammates at this level is very hard but I’ll do my best. I know there are lots of good players in Europe,“ he added.

That's great news. This a great chance for Iran's players to get the required international experience that they need. Let's hope that Haddadi now gets a great offer from one of the top european teams (like the opportunity that he previously had with Partizan Belgrade).
