And why is that? Did he make cabinets before entering the PBA?
try ramming against him, you'll feel you've been smashed by a cabinet. I've seen him once in the LRT, he's really large, he occupies 2 seats in the train.
you know why I am happy

Same thing for Wild, Wild Wes (ley Gonzales).
        No originality, actually.

Actually, I first heard "Wild Wild Wes" back in 1999, when Silverstar was still the one covering the UAAP. Something like "They call him 'Wild Wild Wes' in Blue Eagle country." Forgot the name of the people covering the game, though -- what I do remember is that it was an Atenean - Lasallite tandem.
            Keep running, big boy.

regarding Topex's monicker, it was coined during his stint with red bull along with his former house mate Enrico "The Raging Bull" Villanueva. Norwood's monicker was coined by Quinito Henson, due to his likeness in appearance with Obama.

Tenorio and Adducul's was given that monicker was because of their military style haircut. Belga, I recall is called "Hari ng Gel" in the PBL due to his Fauxhawk hairstyle.

                              • Romel Adducul was born April 21, 1976 at Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

Sports journalists have even given him the moniker "The General," because he has often led his teammates to victory.

"Nag-start 'yon no'ng MBA pa," Romel explains. "Kasi, I remember, meron yatang youngest general in Germany, si Rommel."

The reference is to Germany's famed World War II general, Field Marshall Erwin Rommel, also known as "The Desert Fox."
