      • Well that is really a shame that Rwanda and Libya missed the quarterfinals.

Someone named Brent Ellis left a message on Ellis Kayijuka's player page on the Afrobasket site claiming to be his uncle. He also left an e-mail address. Anyone want to send an e-mail and find out his real name?

Cisse didn't play in this half, played only 2nd half. his 2 point throw and assist at last minute 4th qtr helped to win the game.

                      • exciting finish to the game with Amare Sy missing the free throw that would take the game into OT..
he missed, Tunisia is in the semis

Tunisia is no joke (with a little bit of luck).

They've won their last three games by four points.

09 Aug. vs CAR 76-75 (1 point differential)
                            10 Aug. vs Cameroon 68-66 (2)
                            13 Aug. vs Mali 74-73 (1)

                            Next up, Angola.

                              • And another surprise to end the quarters despite a good game (at least acording to the boxscore) of Cisse, Ndong and Faye.

                                Ivory Coast 84 - 78 Senegal
