I thought Svetislav Pesic would still be the coach of the national team if he ever accepted the Bayern Munich head coach position. Turns out Pesic resigned as the coach of the NT just to coach locally.

Also rumors floating around that Pesic would be switching jobs with Dirk Bauermann.

A bit disappointing that we don't get to see the conclusion of his work with the NT. He won all games at Eurobasket qualies (against inferior teams that's true) and that was good indication as to what he could do in the final stage. I just can't believe he can be satisfied with just qualies... Sounds like premature ejaculation to me. But then again, Bayern must be a very motivating and challenging project that doesn't come very often. And if we get to see Bauermann again at the helm, no harm done.

Federation announced that Frank Menz is the new head coach of the national team. I for one, have no reservations for his election. I like what he has done with the 2011 and 2012 U-20 squads. He is also Pesic's assistant in the last Eurobasket qualifiers.

Default Dirk Nowitzki definitely out of Eurobasket 2013

Nowitzki definitely out of Eurobasket 2013. Cuban said he would rather shoot himself in the foot than let Nowitzki play

After a surgery to his knee and missing part of the season, I don't think we need Cuban telling us he won't let Dirk play Sad he won't play though...

I really enjoyed this part by Cuban: "But such events are business. It is only about money." I mean, does he actually know how it is beyond his backyard? He knows nothing about basketball as far as I'm concerned. Such an ignorant cocky prick, seriously.

The German NT preliminary roster for the 2013 Eurobasket was announced and it’s a major disappointment: Denis Schröder and Elias Harris won’t be in Slovenia (Tim Ohlbrecht had already said he was focusing on his NBA «career»).

Well, I am a big Schroeder fan, but overall there aren't many PG's I'd trust to run their NTeams at the age of 20. His time will come later.

Chris Kaman and Dennis Schroeder seems to be probable, but Dirk Nowitzki, I don't know. It weights on how far the Mavericks will advance through the playoffs as they are loading up. Also Mark Cuban happens to be in the way.
