To my knowledge Nik Stauskas played SG at both the University of Michigan and with the Sacramento Kings in addition to a little bit of court time at PG. Yet I see that Stauskas was listed as a SF in Canada's two big wins over Cuba and Venezuela in the Americas Tournament, games in which he lit up the score sheet. Were the Kings trying Stauskas at SF on occasion this past season?

I didn't see any Canada game in Fiba Americas, but it was the same during Marchand Cup - Stauskas listed as SF, Wiggins as guard, but on court it was conversely. let's say Wiggins was playin' against Nocioni, Stauskas against Argentinian SGs

Stauskas is a SG.
If he is listed as a SF it is incorrect. Fiba routinely butchers names so why not positions?

I knew it, Canadian basketball has the worst luck in FIBA Americas. Has the talent, but can't win it all.

Well they say that you have to learn how to lose before you can learn how to win. Hopefully the lesson from Venezuela on Friday will be sufficient for Team Canada to advance to the next level.

Still you have to give credit to the players on the Canadian team for yesterday's Bronze Medal victory over Mexico which required overcoming both the psychological blow of the heartbreaking loss to Venezuela and the absence of two starters due to illness. They showed the determination to elevate their games after the previous day's loss and Cory Joseph's buzzer beater to give Canada the victory was good to see as partial amelioration for the previous day's failure.

It is just words. They mean nothing and he probably shouldn't even be speaking on the topic when he chose not to play for Canada this past summer.
He is in the dog house of Canadian fans and seems to be trying to dig himself out.
