I will tell you this. Krivas is worse athlete, but much more fundamentally sound big as 18yo than JV was. Much more. He has some natural gifts as bb player:

First glance at Rubstavicius and Murauskas in LKL.

Rubstavicius was aggressive, but couldn't convert on his drives. Looks a bit lost defensively. He will need time, needs to add a bit more mass and strength. Probably will need 2 months or so to truly adjust LKL level, but defense will be a problem. He's not a good defensive player. Nevertheless, it's a perfect place for him to improve.

Murauskas looks good generally. He was used at 3 where he has advantage of size and height. Offensively very gifted player, can punish the defense in many ways. Once his three will be reliable, he will be pretty dominant combo forward (mainly 4). Recently his progression is really promising.

When you think about it, it was a stacked ANGT tournament in Kaunas 2020. There's Victor Wembanyama. Not the MVP cause it was Tubelis L Then Murauskas, Marciulionis in All tournament 5 (I'm not aware how Cameron Hildreth doing though). But some names who left aside like Rubstavicius, Lelevicius, David Mutaf.

1999-2006 stretch should be something else for Lithuania. As I project it should either be the best ever or second best since 1973-1980 (from Stombergas to Macijauskas).

From time to time I used to make the ranking of our best prospects. I think it goes like this (in terms of upside, not the current level), but it's really hard to make a call sometimes. F.e. Jokubaitis has higher IQ, but less of an athlete than Indrusaitis. Former has more chances to dominate in EL, the latter - might have better upside for NBA. If I take NBA as the ultimate perspective, point of view, it would go something like this (nevertheless I still include intangibles as high IQ, decision making, leadership or crunch time qualities, defensive awaraness when I make final judgment). It's something like NBA upside (still the best league in the world, so...) + intangibles :

    Tier No.1

(Complete players. In some cases, more or less)

    1. Matas Buzelis
    2. Nojus Indrusaitis
    3. Rokas Jokubaitis
    4. Paulius Murauskas (Getting higher on him, seems to be developing almost full package and would be likely first rounder if was better athlete and shooter)

    Tier No.2

    (NBA borderliners, more or less)

    5 I. Brazdeikis
    6. A. Tubelis
    7. D. Sirvydis
    8. M. Krivas
    9. L. Lelevicius

    Tier No.3

    (EL material)

    10. M. Rubstavicius (I couldn't decide if he belongs to second tier, but I lack a degree of athleticism and explosiveness from him physically).
    11. D. Giedraitis.
    12. A. Marciulionis.
    13. M. Laurencikas.
    14. K. Jakucionis
    15. M. Blazevic
    16. P. Padegimas
    17. A. Velicka

    (what did I miss?)

The biggest disappointment of last 5 years is still Sedekerskis (followed by Kulboka). Sedekerskis at some point was basically projected as lottery or close and was a firs rounder for few years in draft mocks. The thing is that he truly dominated in Youth Tournaments. But today he's just average EL player and hard to see a huge leap.

Quite ridiculous start of the season for Murauskas. He dominated again with 29eff. In 3 games he shoots 94,1%, 50%, 100%. How about that. What I like that he gives a little bit of everything. Even those mid range jimmies off the dribble which are really hard to make. Besides he dominates the glass with offensive rebounds. Huge stand-put at the start of the season.

Century? Siskauskas, Kleiza, Stombergas seem to be pretty serious talents to me. Do you think he will be better than these guys?

Dont take everything so seriously. Its just a hyperbole for "for a long time"...

Got it The first but not the last. It's pretty crazy coincidence that Buzelis is from the same age group 2004. Two elite forward prospects coming at the same time. But I hope Murauskas will be more of 4 and Buzelis more of 3 (with more expressed guard skills and handles). Also I think Lelevicius will be pretty good.

It seems you have some serious forward prospects. Much better than the guys right now. They have some flaws though.

I didn't see Oscar Robertson playing, maybe he was the one, but if he was not, then there was no player without flaws born yet. Jordan was too of a ball hog and not a good three point shooter. Lebron can't shoot FTs and so on and on

Siskauskas son looks good in SKL thus far (amateur league where grown ups play). 22.5ppg. He didn't make U16 this summer, but might be great late bloomer. Long arms, has a lot of Siska from rumors and Siskauskas' himself. I expect him to see in golden 2006 generation in 2 years as U18 EC will take place. By the way our federation is considering to host the tournament. I think it would be pretty easy thing to do, coach Purlys says he's considering the offer. IMO, he has the generation with which he can do what Maksvytis did, except maybe beating USA in U19, but even that should not be completely ruled out.

Well, that could be the best solution. But Zalgiris treat him as 3rd nominal center, he should face some playing time in LKL and maybe even few minutes in EL if injuries or illnesses will happen. But usually these plans fail with Zalgiris. Blazevic was warming Zalgiris bench for 2 years basically. And he's a good prospect. That's why I'm concerned with all three D. Giedraitis, Krivas, Lelevicius. It's good that at least they let Murauskas and Rustavicius to play for Liekabelis and off course it gives dividends instantly.

Lelevicius dropped 32pts, 7rbs, 5as and 37eff. I expected such game. Way too agile, athletic and skilled not to dominate. One thing that is still an issue is his three. The form looks so good and he's a gravity shooter, but it doesn't fall consistently. BTW, I see him as shooting guard primarily. His agility, sharpness and skillfulness level is of 2.

Krivas, on other hand, with 35eff game yet again. He blocks 2.7 shots per game. Adding Tubelis and Krivas at 5 in the future makes perfect sense to me. Finally legit defensive bigs since Javtokas.

I know we already had like thousand "next Siskauskases" (young Ulanovas, Varnas, Sedekerskis and so on and on), but I sincerely believe that Lelevicius is the closest thing to Siskauskas ever since. He's not as good as 19yo SISKA, but that length, ability to put the ball on the floor, swiftness, explosiveness...He has upside. SISKA, on other hand, already was tougher and more consistent shooter:

Zalgiris 2 dominates second Lith division 6-0. The reason is Krivas and Lelevicius. TOP 5 most efficient league's players. Krivas 1rst, Lelevicius 5th. Both players should play half of the season and then be loaned to mid section LKL clubs if Zalgiris has guts. It's OK to dominate NKL for few months, but after that there's no point.
