Cibona outclassed Zvezda today. Zvezda has young and talented team, but i doubt they can match defensive level of Partizan and Cibona, who is slowly getting into the shape. I think Partizan and Cibona are main favorites, which Zvezda, Zadar and Olimpija next in line.

steped up. Partizan is not that strong this year. They need badly big guy and point guard.
Let's be real, Zvezda has decent team but best that they can hope for is final 4. I just can't see them winning the whole thing.

ADRIATIC LEAGUE – Split clinch unlikely victory after Vojvodina crumble
BELGRADE (Adriatic League) - Vojvodina suffered an amazing collapse in the final minute of their Adriatic League game at home to Split over the weekend and lost 72-70.
The visitors' Antonio Grant made a buzzer-beating lay-up to win it as Split improved to 4-3 while dropping Vojvodina to 1-6.
Marko Pekovic had buried a three-pointer with 53 seconds remaining to give the home side a 70-64 lead, only for Split duo Eddie Shannon and Mario Delas to trim the deficit to 70-68 with back-to-back lay-ups, the second after a turnover.
Vojvodina's Dejan Borovnjak had a chance to push the advantage back to four but he missed two free throws and then Shannon tied the contest at 70-70 at the stripe with 10 seconds left after being fouled by Marko Popovic.
Vojvodina called a timeout and when play resumed, Grant stole the ball from Pekovic and went in for the game-winning lay-up to leave the home team, and crowd, stunned.
The coach of Vojvodina, Zoran Sretenovic, agonized over the turnovers and missed free throws.
"I do not know how to explain what is happening to us," he said.
League leaders and defending champions Partizan Belgrade are not cruising in the Adriatic League but so far, no side has been able to beat them.
Dusko Vujosevic's men won their seventh consecutive game at the weekend but were again pushed to the limit, this time in a 69-66 defeat at FMP.
Partizan trailed by five points heading into the last quarter at FMP but outscored their opponents 20-12 in the final frame.
Uro Tripkovic led Partizan with 18 points.
Two rounds ago, Partizan won 92-91 after overtime at Zagreb and the game before that, Vujosevic and Co prevailed 86-83 at home over Zadar.
In their game at Hemofarm, Partizan scraped a 74-73 triumph.
Red Star are 6-1 and along in second place after bouncing back from their first defeat last time out with a 100-87 win over Bosna.
In other games, Zadar defeated Krka 90-79, Hemofarm won 85-76 at Zagreb, Buducnost defeated Helios 90-86 and Cibona claimed a 72-67 victory at Union Olimpija.

ADRIATIC League – Red Star win Belgrade derby against Partizan
BELGRADE (Adriatic League) - Serbia international Milenko Tepic Partizan missed a lay-up at the end of the game as Red Star won the Belgrade derby 81-80 in the Adriatic League on Sunday.
Partizan had survived a few close calls in the competition this season and they almost scraped an unlikely win against Svetislav Pesic's team after their Cedomir Vitkovac drilled a three-pointer and then Tadija Dragicevic of Red Star missed two free throws.
But Tepic was off target with his potential game-winner right at the death as defending champions Partizan suffered their first defeat.
Elmedin Kikanovic had 22 points and Marko Marinovic 19 for Red Star.
Both sides are now 7-1.
“Our main goal is placement in the NLB Final Four and now we are in a good situation,” said Pesic, who was thrown out of the game.
Zadar and Hemofarm are both 6-2 after winning games at home.
Zadar thrashed Zagreb 110-75 and Hemofarm hammered Buducnost 96-77.
In other games, Krka lost in front of their own fans to Split 86-79, Cibona won 99-75 over Vojvodina, Bosna defeated Olimpija 94-85 and Helios cruised past FMP 96-82.

there was a little fight at Split - Cibona game
twelve players were excluded and each team finished the game with 6 players..
Cibona won the game easily by the way.."Heja, heja Cibosi, hrabri kao vukovi,
heja, heja cibosi, vodite nas k pobjedi. "

uff... good thing that Hajduk fans don't attend basketball games... although Marshal would probably do it anyway.
I strongly suggest him not to repeat such thing in Zadar, Beograd or SarajevoOriginally posted by Jon_KoncakThat's funny shit.I cant believe there are sports fans thinking like it.It's like Federer losing to random Japanese player in round 1 of French Open but tournament director stepping in and saying "hey it was a fluke win who wants to watch a random Japanese guy in next round,Federer qualifies"

ADRIATIC League – Hemofarm late show dooms FMP
BELGRADE (Adriatic League) – Hemofarm edged FMP 87-85 in the latest round of Adriatic League action to strengthen their grip on third place in the Adriatic League.

“This is a very important win for us.”

Rawle Marshall got 3 months suspension and 6.5k euros fine and Stemberger got 3 games suspension + 3.5k euros. Both Split and Cibona got fined 1k per player + Split 1.5k because of fans who were throwing various stuff on pitch.
Gotta love Adriatic league.

I think it was too harsh. from the video it was obvious that Stemberger was going towards Marshall, however Marshall did hit him first.
But still the difference between the two punishments are too big.
A good video of the incident:
