A good win for Efes. And is must have been emotional for Levenspiel and Toruko to see Kruno Simon back among his Efes brothers.

What a killer this Clyburn is

He killed Efes once in F4 Vitoria and now he is doin the same thing but now for Efes

btw I am sorry for Micic, just 1 rb and ass from triple double

Like I wrote countless times before. Will Clyburn is the best player in Europe! Period.

Ionnis Papapetrou 3,5 p and 2,7 rebounds in 21 minutes. Awesome stats. He would have been a great fit for Efes with his broken shot.

Yes but he has posted more about Efes over the previous season than anyone else.

Not sure about that, just dicsutions between me and Bob about Larkin and Efes contained hundreds of posts

Of course that Larkin is the best EL player, but in this moment without him on the court Clyburn rules

It was an emotional moment, indeed, and I am happy Efes could overlook the bitter-sweet memories and eventual departure of Simon last year, and formally appreciate his understated but major role in the success. His is the 2nd jersey ever that has been retired! (the first is I guess obvious).

Happy for the win obviously, great defense at certain moments, Taylor turning into a useful player in denying the ball to the guards especially. But the offense was back to that boring hero-ball game again. We did not see the flow of the previous 3 games, probably because of MBaye's absence. Beaubois and Clyburn had to carry us through this one. And I think Oly slept a bit when they should have reacted in the 2nd half.

                    We need Larkin.

PS. Good to see Mirotic back, and seemingly in good shape.

Seems Mbaye too, both in defense and offense

Agree that ball movement wasn't visible, but Beaubous had open look most of the time, most of those after the Micic's assists on 3pt line. Clyburn on other side didn't take a single assisted shoots and his points were pure master pieces.

Any Idea why Chris Jones for Valencia came of the bench and played so pourly?

our best quarter so far against zalgiris. we might lose today as well but its too sad we lost 3 matches at OAKA in the final seconds and we have one of the worst coaches in euroleague. we could have been on something like 6-4 so far instead of 4-6

Levenspiel's favourite prospect Carsen Edwards gave Fener a nice spark towards the end of this game, but they were already too far behind to really give Real a scare.
