You know, this is my target for FIBA WC next year... TO BE 2ND MOST WATCHED WORLD CUP EVENT AFTER FIFA WC... Yes, Basketball is currently 2nd most popular sport, But their WC is not the 2nd most watch World cup event... It's either Cricket WC or Rugby WC... If the sport basketball itself wants solidifies themselves as 2nd most popular sport in the world, The Most prestigious basketball event, the FIBA WC, should break all viewership records, online appearance, Gate attendance, etc..... I tell you, If they did this, then Basketball will be solid 2nd placer as most popular sport and main rival for soccer/football popularity in the future.... SBP, JBA and PERBASI will have a key role to solidify the status of basketball sport as strong holder of 2nd most popular sport next year...

Wathcing FIFA rn.. no matter who's hosting, or even if beers are not allowed to be served in stadium, fans from around the world, actually spend money and time to travel and support their country. and travel from one host city to the next, neverminding where they sleep. There was a whole section of Ecuadorian fans in the stadium yesterday, and if werent for them, that stadium is dead. (Qataris fans looked manufactured, sorry)

Will FIBA WC next year be the same? Will we see ultras and hardcore fans from around the world? I hope the Brazilians and Argentines come to add spice and deliver a different stadium experience. wink wink

Messi fan here since 2010, I want Messi (or even Ronaldo) to win a WC trophy before retires to play for their Nat'l team... This is the last time we will see them wearing on a national team jersey... No one can duplicate the success of those two... I can't imagine 2026 WC w/o those two legendary football superstars...

I'm interested to see how Argentina will play this WC. Messi's still there, of course, but their defense has gotten stronger from their Copa America win. Wanna see how it holds. Argentina got to their last final by playing defensively and relying on Messi.

Was watching the whole match. USA felt like it was a loss after holding the lead for 80 mins. 3 points got reduced to only 1. England next for the Yanks.
