Lundberg is a fine role player as a second or third offensive option but he won't save their backcourt. janketa described Fener as a "team of role players" the other day and I think that's more descriptive of Virtus.
And I'm skeptical that Teo will round into form well enough to change things. Shengelia, though, should make a difference. He's going to be their primary option and basically their identity. He should keep them hovering around 10th place, imo.
But I definitely think they got a bonus in people's pre-season power rankings because of name power between older players and coaches that isn't worth anything at this point in time.
It will be interesting to see if they make some roster changes during the season

Sad loss for Bayern. 0/2 fts from Weiler-Babb in the last 3 secs. It was an enjoyable game, too.
It looks like we will have a great season. It is just a pity you can watch bits and pieces of most games live. Can EL not spread the games over 3 days maybe?5 out 6 scientists say Russian roulette is safe.

The basketball geeks like we in this forum are super tiny minority in the whole audience, so that is why they do not care much about it (most important is to make best time slot for each local team and most prefer the similar time)

Edwards -3
Jekiri -3
Guduric -4
Birsen -4
Hazer -8
He isn't kind of player like Larkin and Pangos who will create something brilliant in crutial moments except pure shooting.
You could see we almost lost the game because he turn the ball in last seconds.
After all Guduric finished last three offenses with 6 points and broke the game, but at your table he is on -4Last edited by janketa; 10-20-2022, 11:23 PM.

Yeah, he did commit a brutal turnover as well.

I think he is good for Fener because he will make his shoots
Problem is that we need something more then role players in the team, we need guy who will make difference.
We should go on the market and Itoudis is known as guy who makes improvements through season.
My suggestion is Daron Russell (as I said already) Why him? Because nobody big is free and we don't have enough money to pay big buyouts, so it's only left to find someone cheap who could shine.
I hope we agree that Edwards was mistake. He will play some good games but his average performance will be mediocre overall. This is his 1st and last season in Fener. I was always against rookies from usaLast edited by janketa; 10-21-2022, 01:19 AM.

I think the only takeaway regarding Edwards from today is that he's clearly behind Wilbekin, Calathes, and Guduric in the guard pecking order in Fener. He had a bad seven minutes but any player is capable of having a bad seven minutes.
I'm not sure what you'd expect a guy like Fatts Russell to do in that role. He'd be behind three guards in the rotation. In pivotal EL games, Wilbekin will play 30+ minutes.

I can't wait to watch him against Partizan next weekend, team that destroyed Virtus today. Even Obradovic pointed him as main problem and task for his defense

Russell is a fine player who has a history of poor shooting. His scoring 47 points in a game against KK Zadar isn't necessarily a sign that he's better than Carsen Edwards.

Your samples are even smaller then mine, cos in your logic we should wait season end to prove who is wrong
But, I undersand you, regarding you are not Fener fan you are not interested for our destiny, our results and what will happen at the end. You just care about you favorites, (in this case Willbekin and Edwards)
As Fener fan I can only say that nobody would be happier then me if that's true, but your boy Edwards is far from what you present here.
