Couple that with poor Slovenian defense and we have a 3 point game after 30 minutes.

Still too much time to go. With 9 minutes left and Belgium up one, I think a Slovenian double digit win is probably more likely than a Belgian win.

Luka is a monster. Slovenia is just a mediocre team without him far from a medal.

In fact Slovenia without him are a borderline top 16 team as it was proved from their last qualification adventure.

15-1 run and counting for Slovenia after Belgium took a one point lead. Kind of predictable.

I just saw a German player on German TV who was already talking about a duel against Greece in the quarterfinals. I find it remarkable when you still have a round of 16 to win. If Germany go into the game against Montenegro with that attitude, it could be a rude awakening for them. Montenegro has achieved respectable results in its group.

It's true, he's forcing a lot, but nobody other than him can't hit anything from outside. Against France, Luka 6 3s, all others 2 3s. Today Luka 4, all others 3.

I think we will have one game where our other players actually score some threes. I hope it is against Serbia ofc if we get there. We cant be that bad in all of the games.

I expect Germany to win a similar type game vs Montenegro. Close for a while but a double digit German win as the end result.

He said at Sunday we have to watch Greece and I agree 100%

Poor Turks !!! I was 100% sure that they will win in Berlin against France. Very heartbraking game.

The thing is that neither Germany nor Greece are in the quarterfinals yet.

I hope you are right. I am sure it's gonna be close for long, but I fear this will instill doubt our go-to-players and we are not gonna be able to pull the switch like Slovenia did early in the fourth.

I am torn about Schröder: he has to have ONE good shooting game before the end of the tournament, but should it be this one?

I think he has to re-watch the game against the Dominican Republic at the WC 2019 before ... But too late now, already time to warm up for Montenegro.

That’s not his game. He’s a streaky shooter for sure but his taking off the dribble and breaking down defenders driving to the basket is elite at this level. He needs to continues doing that.

As you said he is streaky. But he basically had no streak until now... 20% in total is a tragedy, not a bad streak. That's what I mean.

Also I partially disagree in the FIBA contest. From NBA distance, streaky as hell, I will give you that. But even before the NBA at 19 years old he was a 40% + for the season in Europe and here are his stats in previous FIBA tournaments.

As you, very respectable 3pt shooter. And this year he is bricking a lot of open threes too, I don't know what to think.

Yeah 6-29 is definitely unacceptable and a bit unexplainable. I don’t think he’ll continue at that pace.
