This upgrade to unsportsmanlike on Gobert was stupid. They have this literal interpretation of "not going for the ball", but if this is off-ball defence, how do you interpret it. I am even rooting for France (just because I think they will make a more interesting quarterfinal), but these refs are a disgrace.

As fiba commentator said "you can't write a more disappointing finish"

In the OT, even Ataman just did not care any more

I can't believe that Turkey lost the game to one of the worst famous basketball players ever

I'm sorry friends, I was rooting for you but in the end your stars played sub par

Imagine the restraint it will take for CoachZ not to return just to post something about Korkmaz...

Turkey had a chance to win it against France, who played its far worst game of the tournament, but Turkey choked big time - 2 lost free throws, TO and also poor coaching - they were not yet in bonus, why they have not fouled?

Very difficult for Cedi Osman to come back from this, again. Already during the overtime he was just looking dead inside.

Even with his turnover at the end, I’m more than satisfied with Korkmaz. He showed real balls despite starting the tournament with a lower back injury and playing with a needle.

Now, Cedi, on the other hand… I wish he spent as much time in FTs as he does in Instagram

oh im so glad that we lost. i hope those two free throws that overrated cedi missed will haunt him in his dreams. and i hope it affects him so bad.

cedi osman is a basketball player who routinely fails to score from the foul line and will make you lose the game while under pressure. he is mentally weak and overrated.
calathes probably has better a 3-point percentage than cedi osman's free throw percentage and honestly, that's hilarious.

That’s funny. Coach Z where are you ?
At least Korkmaz salvaged it somewhat with those clutch free throws and 3’s late.

Has to be one of the most dramatic 8finals of EB. Turkey deserved respect after this effort.

I don't know how France weren't up 30 at half time. Great comeback by Turkey. Can't think of a bigger choke job right now. Comical game at times but very entertaining.

Very true. But I just keep thinking about those lengthy Korkmaz debates he used to have with some members on here.

I think this was the key. Nothing to take away from Sanli, hit some huge threes, but Sengun is a much better rebounder and could have attacked Gobert in the post. Turkey could have pulled upset with just a little bit more composure.

This has not much to do with ft habits. Some mental weak player cant just make ft in crucial times. We have to take him out the last 3 minutes and success wont come until we have a star player and an acceptable play maker.
