I'm pretty sure he won't play on Sunday. The federation said Giannis has a sprained ankle. It just takes time to heal. Even if he is treated intensively. You could theoretically get him pain free with injections for the game on Sunday. But I don't think the Bucks agree with that. I would be very surprised if he would play on Sunday. I'm skeptical even about playing in the quarter-finals if we qualify. I hope I'm wrong.

This are for me only rumours and speculations.

Has there been any new statements coming from Greece medical/coaching staff about his injury? If he will not play, then I would bet my money on Czech Republic to win it with Satoransky fully back in the lineup.

There is only one official statement from the federation. In this statement, a low-grade sprained ankle is referred and that he is monitored by the medical staff for a continuous assessment of his condition. That doesn't sound very positive to me. But you're right, anything beyond that is speculation.

I have to say that I would be more relax before the game, if we played against Italy or Croatia. Luka has big problems in those "easy" games. He tends to start very slow, like we will do easily and after that is not just easy to turn on. The worst games that we played this summer were, against Belgium, Estonia, Germany in qualification, when nobody knew how good Germany is and Bosnia. I hope Slovenia takes serious this game.

Belgium is easily the worst offensive team of the 16, can't take down any team that can outscore them.

Media writes that Giannis was able to walk to the plane without limping

    EDIT:

The players have asked Itoudis to hold the cancelled training today after all. It seems the boys are hot.

France looks more mature and better overall. Turkey doesn´t lack effort today, they definitely found some spirit, but the decision making is pretty questionable and they lack talent compared to France. I expected an easy win by France and based on first half the outcome should be as expected.

If Fournier stays cold Turkey will win. Not a lot of offensive power for France.

Buğrahan curry is keeping us alive. But we need something from Furkan and Alperen if we want to win this

Turkey will not loose this game at home! Not if France continues to play slow.
