  • Bill Laimbeer 6 3 pointers vs. Portland Trailblazers 1990 NBA Finals

First stretch 5 aka First 3 points shooting Center in NBA History. Bill is not only a dirty player, but a very skilled player. 4x NBA All Star during his prime. I think he averaged almost 18 ppg in his best statistical season. He taught Dennis Rodman on how to be a great rebounder, and playing mind games to his opponents".

Dennis Rodman said it best in his book: "Laimbeer was more than a thug, but that's what he'll be remembered for." Damn shame, because he really was a good player, and from what I've heard, a very nice guy. Good family man and does a lot of charity work.

Best expressed in his book by Dennis Rodman: "Laimbeer was more than just a thug, but that's what he'll be remembered for." It's a damn pity, since he was a pretty brilliant player and, based on what I've heard, a truly lovely man. Dedicated to charitable work and a good family man.

Thanks for sharing the video! Bill seems like an impressive player, being the first stretch 5 in NBA history and a 4x NBA All-Star during his prime. It's fascinating how he not only excelled on the court but also had a significant impact on other players like Dennis Rodman.

It's unfortunate how perceptions overshadow reality sometimes. Laimbeer's skills and character often get overlooked. It's commendable to hear about his contributions off the court.
