Does it feel surreal that you finally got to write this?

Nenad Canak said, he is fan of Panathinaikos, Olympiacos offers him more money, and he thinks Bartzokas is better coach than last coach in Pao. Canak also said, Lietkabelis signed him without expectations, almost because is brother of Georgios.

Peters could be good signing for Efes instead of Moerman, similar type of player but better.(better spot up shooter). For Fener too, but I would rather go for Thompkins
Thompkins had a bad injury and after that he's not the same again. No need to risk the season.

Imho it's time to say goodbye Moerman. He's done with Efes. It would be better if Ataman would take a look on Reggie Perry. That would be the greatest move for #4 & #5.

Everything in life is risk bro, Covid is risk, any player could get injured in any moment, that's risk too. Streetballer in the team is even more risk

Though in some point you are right about him, but still look Pleis for instance, guy was more injured then healthy but he played the whole season and at the end was the main player in the final, title winner

Yeah you're wright, too.. i think i have good experience about life at this age but let's say "bile bile lades" (God damn, how can you say it English..!) is not my type of life As i read in basketnews, he will never be the same player as before cause his injury effected him badly. Highly risky... Anyway, you never know.

Life is an evaluation of the benefit/risk ratio. I strictly agree with you. He isnt worth it.

Nice suggestion Worrax. But keep in mind, Ataman doesn't like unproven American players. A player without overseas experience is not his man. He rarely coached anyone in that profile.
Sports is not only considered as a superiority of physical capability. Perception, intelligence and morality assist it as well. The strong with less intelligence and comprehension can not cope with the less strong but with sufficient intelligence and comprehension. I like the sportsman who is intelligent, agile as well as morally upright.

Also with De Colo(his ex boy too) is waiting too much imo.

If Willbekin is the best he can then he should stay in Moscow
Wilbekin will be a first-team All-EL player with Itoudis and he'll shut you up.

Canaan would be a good fit. That proposed roster is a monumental improvement defensively but you need someone who can stretch the defense.

He is also pesky, if somewhat undersized, defender.

I agree and reading the comments I think that no one noticed that his last season was his best among the 4 Israeli ones. He showed more maturity, better shooting choices, better passing game. I would have confirmed him but he insisted on leaving.

About Maccabi-Canaan, Baldwin is considered a done deal so I would exclude the arrival of more foreign pgs-sgs. And rightly so, they must keep Heidegger.

Fener does still need one guard in the mold of Calathes or even Wolters. Plus another big depending on whether or not they're cutting bait with Polonara or Booker (sounds like Peters is probably going to replace Polonara?). I'd prefer one defensive center in addition to Jekiri as well.

    Wilbekin/x/Akpinar
    de Colo/Guduric/Melih
    Pierre/Hazer/Birsen
    Motley/Peters/Geyik
    x/Jekiri/Booker

Depending on the guard and the big I think that's a roster that could compete for Final Four.

Can't help wonder what could've been if Maccabi had prioritized defense last off-season with Sfairopoulos and Wilbekin instead of bringing in defensive zeros like Nunnally (he had a good EL season but was probably more trouble than he was worth and disappeared in the playoffs), Williams, and Reynolds.

I wrote many times that Wolters is guy for us.

We are weak on SF position, Pierre is just backup guy for 15 minutes in title ambition team, or main player in EC level team. I don't know what is target for us. maybe just playoff then he could be ok

Hazer is guard rather then forward
