  • 2004 - 2006 future international stars and potential generational talents

I had the chance to watch few games of the U16 championship in Spain and this generation is even more loaded than the very promising 2002 international generation. I hope we can introduce here some names to give an overview for the upcoming youth tournaments.

    My 2006 ranking:

    1. Egor Demin (Russia)
    2. Demir Dogan (Turkey)
    3. Bossalo Bogayako (Senegal)
    4. Hugo Gonzales (Spain
    5. Ben Saraf (Irael)

    My 2005 generation ranking:

    1. Alexandros Samodurov (Greece)
    2. Filip Jovic (Bosnia)
    3. Jan Vide (Slovenia)

    My 2004 generation:
    1. Vicor Wembanyama (France)
    2. Nikola Djurisic (Serbia)
    3. Elliot Cadeau (Sweden)
    4. Kerem Kuthan Konan (Turkey)
    5. Zacharie Perrin (France)
    6. Henry Veesaar (Estonia)
    7. Paulius Murauskas (Lithuania)
    8. Jakub Necaz (Czech Republic)

This is not an objective list but a list of my preferences. You can add your thoughts as you like.

    2004 M. Buzelis (Lithuania)

    2006 N. Indrusaitis (Lithuania)

IMO, these 2 teams, specially first one, has to be up on the list along with Victor.
LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

    Jokubaitis, Marciulionis, Laurencikas
    Indrusaitis, Brazdeikis, Rubstavicius
    Buzelis, Lelevicius
    Murauskas, Sirvydis
    Tubelis, Krivas

I saw Buzelis but its not clear that hell choose representing Lithuania thats why I didnt mention him. The other one Idk but I am really intrigued by the Russian kid Egor Demin. He developed insanely during the last year. Clearly a NBA first round pick maybe even a lottery and the Spaniard Hugo Benitez also a clear NBA prospect along side Demir Dogan. These 3 are locked for the NBA if no injuries etc. comes in their way.

All five of 2006 in the list are NBA material but the first three are special. Wembanyama surely too but he is too long I am sceptical about his body.

Greek Samodurov 2005 is also a clear NBA prospect but lacks tools to be special.
