Actually, Lina might have more opportunities in Season 86, since Lucero, Galinato, Catapusan, and maybe (hopefully) Carl leave after next season.

RC, on the other hand, is a little murkier. 2 and 3 spots are loaded. Alarcon, Abadiano, Cansino, Gonzales, Spencer, Madrigal, Reyland Torres, Torculas, Belmonte, and Andrews.

With the bullshit going on, I'm kinda partial now to Carl joining UP for the KBL training.

      • Carl is already practicing with Gilas so too late for UP to change plans.

I think Tab has two or three more seasons in his Ateneo contract.

Both are eligible come Season 85 (this season).
Apparently, others were given offers as well.

UST also offered 6'0" MJ Langit, 6’4” Ethan Galang, 6’4” King Miller, and 6’2” Kai Maniego: https://www.rappler.com/sports/uaap/...owling-tigers/

If he is as good as advertised then a KQuiam - Policarpio duo would be deadly. This is assuming KQuiam doesn't play in Japan or Korea next year.

UE and UST are getting competitive in recruitment, though.

to be honest he should be able to play 3 or even 2. doesnt look like he has any natural feel to make plays but he can handle ball though needs polishing. if he can be a tamed version of Abueva then I hope manong Derek would experiment a line up with Jonneeel, KQuiam, and MikeP all playing together. heck, he can do that with Bright at 5 and whoever he wants at point and it should still be ok because all these 3 are mobile and very switchable. bonus that Jonneeel has some handles and KQuiam is a decent passer.

UST lost some of the recruits Coach Jinno got already.
