The thing about Efes that makes these achievments special is that they were dead last in this league 4-5 years ago...It's a genuine rise, along with the club itself some players like Micic made incredible improvement. What I want to say they weren't just pumping money, they actually invested a lot in development, and definetly hit gold with Larkin and Micic, and basically all players from this roster played their best years with Efes.

after the semi-finals, there was no doubt that the final match was below expectations. of course, years later, we will only remember the champion. congratulations to efes, his coach, and his players. i don't know when we'll see someone like the micic-larkin duo again. then i'm also glad for the pleiss. he is a very moral person, both as a character and as an athlete.i heartily congratulate the olympiacos fans. i have great respect. they gave us the best f4 atmosphere i can remember. printezis will always remain in our memories as a true legend. we will always remember the story of efes with great respect. next?

Moerman was a reject of Barcelona.
Micic was the second violin of Pangos.
Singleton was a reject of Barcelona.
Beaubois, Pleiss etc were regular role players of non competitive teams...
Only Larkin was brought as the big star of the team, for 2M-2.5M I believe... it’s been a work of art what the Efes front office did after that horror season.

Next season it should be Larkin, Micic, Singleton, Pleiss + 6 new guys.
PS they don't suck . That what Singleton made with deflection was in range of Khryapa's basket in Berlin.

The thing is, Vasa was more bad in game 1 than Larkin in game 2, but he saved it with a giant 3 pointer, and Larkin saved it with his hustle, drawing the opponent, and most of all his massive rebounds and defensive touches, in a match where Madrid was picking offensive rebounds as if they were picking strawberries in the field... Overall they both did what they had to do.... I would have liked Larkin shooting more efficient today but the Real defense was on him good. Anyway it doesnt matter, they are both 2 times champions now, and nothing can take that away from them, and with this my criticisms of Micic are officially a thing of the past, and I recommend you leave your Larkin complex in 2020, when you first started your anti Larkin lobby.
We will see soon enough how good Micic really is. Larkin will be always known in USA as son of Hofer, no career for him in Nba I'm afraid.Last edited by Killer Bob; 05-21-2022, 09:52 PM.previously known as Beno
