Wow, Denmark would be odd. But I would like that to happen, because it's nearest to Lithuania. It would also be nice to see a small country organize such a tournament, although their team would probably lose all games.
Australia: I would like it.
Brazil: after last year's problems with the women WC, not likely. Althouh I like it because it's closer to me hehe
Canada: hosted in 1994. May be too soon to host again.
They have Araneta and a new PBA Stadium I hear and an arena in Metro-Manila (cant think of name). They have the stadia infastructure. Maybe some cleanup, but I think that the Philippines would be a bad place to host. For sure they might need to do some things, but nothing to major.
I almost posted US, but quickly realized that they did in '02 and the disaster the team showed. I think that if its in US, too much hype for team and players get caught in the glamour.
Statistics Wish List:

1992 Euro Olympic Basketball Tournament -in Spain

Plus, FIBA competitions in US usually attract less spectators than other countries.

Qatar, joins Spain, France, Denmark, Russia and Saudi Arabia in the group of candidates interested in hosting the 2014 FIBA World Championship.
Qatar and Saudi Arabia are bidding. If this were Formula One, i'd say they would have already decided XD
