Serbian basketball owes so much to Duda Ivković. Led national team during most difficult and challenging times when we were banned from all competitions during sanctions in the early 90's. He kept that generation together during fallout and organized meaningless tournaments to keep the hope and strengthen relationships between players (when every other team was competing in FIBA tournaments). And indeed, he himself was the definition of basketball in those days and the one who kept Serbian basketball alive during most difficult times. Truly, one of the most sincere and honest fighters for the good of Serbian basketball. There aren't many more like Duda.

I'm really sorry, serbian friends. We have lost a legend of this sport, who changed it forever and who also gave us one of the best teams in history. R.I.P. Dušan, hvala!

It was sad to read this news earlier. What an absolute legend as a coach and as a person, who leaves an extraordinary legacy. From reading the tributes from his ex players, it's clear he had a significant impact on them off the court as well.
My condolences, particularly to our Serbian and Greek members.

RIP Coach and thank you for the memories.

RIP to the legend. Struck fear in my heart as a mere spectator thousands of miles away in the States. Can’t imagine what it would’ve been like to do play for him/ref one of his games.
