The game before that was FEU on vacation mode with a bunch of OFW's they met on the street (literally) and beat the Singapore National Team. Jeff Chan was still a 2nd year player and guys like Arwind Santos weren't even in the PBA yet. The Kings also beat Chot Reyes' RP Team selections (the pools of which became the 2007 team) a week later.
    Bruton and Barlow were part of the Boomers core in the mid to late 2000s

    As an assistant as Brisbane, CJ Bruton urged the Bullets to get Kai Sotto. Little did he know that they'd end up together at Adelaide | By
    @dolphtrythis

    NEW Adelaide 36ers coach CJ Bruton admitted it was not long ago when he wanted Kai Sotto to be part of the Brisbane Bullets.
    "He was one of the guys that I wanted to bring to the Brisbane Bullets," said the 45-year-old Bruton, who as one of the assistants of former Boomers coach Andrej Lemanis pushed the organization to get Sotto.
    The Adelaide 36ers beat Brisbane to the punch in signing the 7-foot-3 center back in April. Little did Bruton know that months later, he will eventually get the chance to handle Sotto as he was named as Adelaide's new head coach.

    Analyzed said countless times that Kai was rejected by several teams but news coming out were contrary to his statements. The 36ers GM confirmed that Kai was sought after and Bruton just confirmed it also that they were interested in getting Kai.lol
    Too much fallacies perpetrated by analyze and his group here, time and time again their narratives were being debunk. 100k salary.hahaha

    Why is it so quiet in here? No NBL updates at all? Before this thread was created, silent killer was bombarding the Kai Sotto thread with all sorts of NBL bits and updates. Where is our boy now

    Cairns is actually a good place for development players and next star prospects, as there is an opportunity for playing time and touches

    It is simple teams will make a way. It is the same with how they accommodate EWP's demand for Kai's salary. It was never about he failed rising star or teams rejected Kai.haha it was simply an issue with the salary demand and what is best for Kai. Kai and EWP has leverage over any NBL team.lol

    the start of the season might move again from november to december. targeting some vaccination rate. NSW (where there’s 2 teams hawks and kings) and Victoria (SEM Phoenix and Melbourne) has lots of cases.. NSW getting 1k plus cases per day.
