Because its looks really silly when you trying to put blame on coach that teams shooting guard who played 25min shoot only 2 shots in critical game.

All season long Giedraitis had green light to shoot from coach.Thats not Canak fault.

Giedraitis just looked shaky in his eyes and was passing off the ball all game long played with Sedekerskis mindset this game.

Orelik and Gagic did their parts,but all 4 lietkabelis guards was dissapointing in game 1.

Thats wasnt some magic from Adomaitis or Neptunas this zalgiris in games not in Kaunas is just pathetic.

The only Zalgiris hope to win series is win all games in Kaunas and win 3-2 like versus Neptunas.

In Panevezys Zalgiris was blown away in last 2 games this months.Lost 2games in Klaipeda too .

If im zalgiris coach Strelnieks,Jankunas,Milaknis is not even registered for remaining of the games.

Kalnietis around 10min max and cut rotation to 8 players that can run and hope to win 2 remaining games in Kaunas.

In my opinion Zalgiris is done. Key players are exhausted and washed out. Lekavicius, Cavanaugh are spiting their blood already. Nebo is till OK, but he's inconsistent. Lauvergne is out of shape and not motivated. Vets like Kalnietis, Milaknis, Jankunas can't move...

Now it's not only the lack of decision making, but also exhaustion...Ulanovas loss was huge. Without him Zalgiris has only Lekavicius as consistent decision maker. Zalgiris tragedy is that Kalnietis collapsed with injury and Strelnieks washed out and declined with several injuries. If Zalgiris today would have Lekavicius, Kalnietis, Stelnieks, Ulanovas good to go (more or less), that would be enough of quality decision making and creativity to take down Lietkabelis. But current Zalgiris is simply too limited and too tired...

Liekabelis for my tastes still a bit to careless and inconsistent team with the ball, they don't have a single consistent decision maker aside Giedraitis (his role offensively is only minor and he is used as defensive pitbull primarily), but they have fresh legs, aggression and plenty of will to run and dominate. Even with shaky decision making, I would be super surprised if Lietkabelis won't take this Zalgiris down. It's done. More over Liekabelis top 3 player Kalaitzakis has been choking a bit to some extent thus far, and if he played up to his capabilities, it wouldn't be even close.

Unless Ulanovas would come back and turn onto the beast mode, I think Zalgiris is going down. Lietkabelis is outhustling this team at both ends and now Lekavicius is washed out too, he won't do it...

Kalaitzakis doing a lot of good things like playing active D, rebounding, assisting and so on, but he struggled with scoring in these 2 games, only 31% from the field. If he will fix that, it's a game over...

Radisevic and Zemaitis -4 and -3 eff points after the first half. These 2 too inconsistent and wild players to play the point. Again, Giedraitis is their most consistent mind as a guard with 3 assists and plenty spot on decisions.

Zalgiris brings more energy, but not sure they won't wash out in the second half.

Lietkabelis! And Giedraitis delivered clutch again and MVP of the team with 21eff. Radisevic and Zemaitis were killing Lietkabelis, but at least Canak was smart enough to choose optimal rotation for crunch time.

Zalgiris as expected couldn't handle intensity and physicality at the end. As I said, this Zalgiris is washed out and lacks of decision makers, even if Strielniks delivered.

21yo Giedraitis has a clutch gene just as Jokubaitis, they can play in last minutes and seconds. His couple of years experience in ACB, now Eurocup and LKL playoffs with important role is great experience. He's a head of time in terms of his production.

I'm also happy that Giedraitis is schooling no-one else than Maksvytis. The guy who trusted Cizauskas, Zemaitis, Normantas, Girdziunas ahead of him. He's clearly and X factor in this series cause he has been working on Lekavicius extremely well and warn him down a lot. And now he sunk a bunch of FTs in Maksvytis' face, just as he made a clutch bucket against Rytas in the Cup tournament. Love how talent schooling our conservative coaches

To be fair Dovis Giedraitis hadn't done any of that before Coach Maksvytis made his roster decisions. Giedraitis has now chalked up more evidence for Maksvytis to weigh.

He had a nice semifinal against Rytas in KMT and sunk a clutch bucket too. But I think now it's more than clear, Giedraitis and Kalaitzakis has been best guard duet of Lietkabelis in playoffs (the latter is a wing, but still). And Giedraitis is most consistent decision maker in the team. I really hope Lietkabelis will close this series, I think they have no reserves, cause Lekavicius is washed out and without him there's little aggression and decision makers. I want this Lietkabelis team taking the chip.

D. Giedraitis is guarding a lot Lukas Lekavicius. How would you rate his job in the series?

Excellent. Not just the series, in the season. Maybe it's not good to talk now cause the season is not over yet, but during the season he was our engine. You can't say that through the numbers, but how he plays defence, how he takes care about the team...he's like 20yo guy, it's unbelievable.

Zalgiris is toasted atleats feeling is like that right now.

They played very physical defence for 35min and was leading most of the game because of that but lietkabelis was sticking around and made a push in 4 querter and Zalgiris simply couldnt score enough when pressure was real in 4querter.

Kalaitzakis and Giedraitis were bad in Gm1 they didnt helped Orelik And Gagic.

In Gm3 they did what its should be obviuos slow zalgiris guards shouldnt be able to guard them and in Gm3 they took advantage of that. Orelik with Gagic got help and even in Kaunas zalgiris didnt survive.

I thought after gm1 the only Zalgiris chance is to win all games in Kaunas.In away Games Zalgiris is simply awful all last month.

Motiejunas is pissed now no doubt if Zalgiris first time in lkl history doesnt make to lkl finals

Last place in eurolague and lose in lkl semifinal would be total fiasco for him.

In podcast people are killing him for ridiculous desicions he made building this roster.

The only question left do this broken Zalgiris roster have a fight in them in do or die away game ?
