Suns are now 13-3 without Ayton. With Bismack and Javale filling in well of all people. This is why would rather fill their team with cheap rim running bigs rather than generational offensive talents who can't play defense. It just works. Bismack has terrible stone hands, can't shoot, can't dribble and is a horrible passer but he dunks everything if it's within his range.

They're a big reason the Suns are a top-5 defensive team, no?

The Bulls used a reverse, wherein the guards are the anchors. At least when Caruso was healthy. When he was out, the defense really suffered.

    LMAO.

What is happening in the Nba since Covid Bubble and Post Covid Bubble? Lmao.

    1. Standings are now inaccurate measurement of teams strength as almost all significant teams have some injuries.

    2. Speaking of injuries, it is note worthy that this past 3 seasons, a lot of superstrars and all stars are hurting.

    3. Load Management is kinda a thing now.

I dont know, it is seeming like a battle who is the healthier team, not the better team.

But I get it, part of the game. Teams Medical Team just need to step up.

Aside from injuries a lot of superstars were also sidelined due to Covid protocols i.e. Luka, Lavine, Giannis, Durant, Embid were at one point out of their respective lineups, heck some teams played shorthanded with only 8 active players.

edit: there was a time when the Suns had the best medical staff, they were even able to work wonders on the often injured Grant Hill during his tenure with phoenix

I believe some of their medical personnel have transferred to different NBA teams now and the rest of the league have now caught up with their advancements.

Booker had made great strides as a defensive player and as a shooter. So has the other players. Their 8-0 run in the bubble was no fluke and they only improved their roster and coaching staff since then. Plus they kept finding former busts like Bismack, Payne, Kaminsky and resurrecting their careers. The only mis step they had was picking Jalen Smith over guys like Vassell, Halliburton etc though to be fair he had looked a lot better lately. And they made some personnel changes to better much up with the Bucks.

Is there a reason why Ingram, Randle, and Lonzo never worked out for the Lakers?

Really crazy to see these guys doing well (okay Randle's been struggling but that's besides the point) in their new teams but were only a shade of what they are currently back in LA.

Simple. Lebron and AD have the same agent. and LBJ wants AD. In order to make it work. LAL packaged assets that somewhat equaled to AD's value, and they came up with Ingram, Lonzo plus Josh Hart.

In Julius Randle's case, it's a little bit on the curious side. He was one of the few players in the NBA who doesn't want to play with LBJ. He was heading into free agency anyway when LBJ came to the Lakers, so he made the easy decision to play for the Pels when they offered a contract. Also the Lakers didn’t want to give Randle a long-term deal after James came aboard because they wanted to save the cap space the following summer for AD.

    On Basketball standpoint

It is because Lebron's style is so ball dominant. As in he need the ball in his hands to be effective. He is not really as great as MJ, Kobe, or Steph in terms of Off the Ball Movements.

In the case of other stars playing with LBJ. They are asked to have a backseat. Wade and Bosh took a backseat back then in Miami. So Bosh did not do in Miami what he did in toronto. Same case for wade pre lebron miami.

No hate on LBJ. Still the second goat for me after MJ.

I will say it depends on the players. Some of them fit with LBJ. Some of them doesn't.

I think LeBron only played with Ingram and Lonzo. Randle was playing with the Pelicans.

Solid posts. Watching LeBron this season Wizards Jordan looks like an average player compared to him.

LaVine will be back in a couple weeks. He's been shooting around.

Javonte Green's close to returning as well. The team misses his energy, especially on defense.
And Caruso is out 6-8 weeks thanks to a cheap shot/reckless foul from Grayson Allen.

Allen should be suspended for a couple weeks at least.

What's stopping teams now from doing the same to Giannis? Should be suspended for the same time Caruso is out .

Giannis doesn't really deserve that treatment.

An Allen suspension would be satisfying, but he's not as important to the Bucks as Caruso is to the Bulls. Now the Bulls don't have a defensive anchor for 2 months thanks to that reckless foul.

Ayo Dosunmu would really have to take a leap and be a combination of Lonzo and Caruso. That's a lot to ask of a 22-year old rookie.
