This is the problem when multiple teams are based in one area. Tokyo has five teams. Among those team, the Alvark Tokyo and Shibuya Sun Rockers that have the most supporters.

thanks for reminding, opened the feed, and Kurihara #2 is playing instead of 1GDL. they have the same hairstyle and it's not 1GDL haha. and seeing him being physical and running the PnR, and the eye test is obvious.

okay 1GDL in again at 8:09 mark of 4Q.

EDIT: solution by coach now is to make 1GDL play SG

EDIT2: 1GDL out by 5:17 4Q. taken out because he took a shot hahaha

Tokyo is big. I mean Greater Tokyo is really big. It's expected they'll have more than one professional ball team.

Greater London has like 11 football clubs if I recall.

Guys, just downloaded Aiscore. Does one need to sign in to view the live feed videos? Can’t seem to find the tab for the video stream, all I see is animated play by play. What am I missing?

No need to sign in. If the game has a blue play button then it has a live stream. The Live stream button is under the score on the left side.

    For reference:

Getting clearance from the PBA is only a small chunk of the process for Ravena, who will also have to get the green light from FIBA before being able to suit up as an Asian Player Quota import for the Shiga Lakestars in the 2021-22 season.

A letter of clearance, according to Book 3, Article 57 of the FIBA Internal Regulations, is issued by the governing body to confirm "that a player is free to transfer internationally" -- which, in Ravena's case, is from the PBA to the B.League.

    Source:https://www.espn.ph/basketball/pba/s...rance-sbp-fiba

    Another reference: https://www.gamehigh.ph/selective-ap...onizing-rules/

    Clearance, clearance, clearance

As far as the moves were concerned, everyone was within their rights: the teams, the mother team, Parks, and even Commissioner Willie Marcial. A matter of curiosity, however, emerged in the aftermath of the Parks saga. When asked about the possibility of Parks playing abroad, PBA chairman Ricky Vargas stated that it might be difficult, for he will need to get clearance from FIBA, SBP, PBA, and TNT.

It would have been best if the reporter who interviewed Chairman Vargas asked the most obvious follow up: Why would the SBP, PBA, and TNT deny clearance to Ray-Ray?

The Article 3, Chapter 2 FIBA rules govern the international transfer of players, of which the most relevant are the numbers 44, 46 and 76. They are worth quoting in full:

    Article 3-44 states that

“The letter of clearance may not be limiting or conditional. If applicable, the letter of clearance must mention any sanctions applied under the auspices of the national member federation that may be in force against the player. Such mention shall include the unexpired period of suspension from playing, the unpaid amount of a monetary fine which is part of the sanction applied by the national member federation, or the unexpired portion of any other sanction. FIBA must be informed when a letter of clearance is issued where there is an outstanding sanction.”

    Meanwhile, Article 3-46 specifically states

The only reason for which a national member federation may refuse to grant the request for a letter of clearance is if the player is under contract to play for his club beyond the scheduled transfer date. See article 3-76:

    Article 3-76 says

“If the national member federation refuses the request for the letter of clearance in terms of article 3-46 above, this national member federation shall notify the party requesting clearance and FIBA immediately. The refusal shall be accompanied by a copy of the valid contract in question duly dated and signed by the parties involved. A certified English or French translation of this contract shall be attached.”

Anyway you are correct excessive and arbitrary use of this might result to another FIBA ban hammer

So there was really a very conscious effort to improve Kobe's outside shooting & it was like its back to the basics in terms of Kobe's shooting form/posture. And even before Kobe went to the US for an extensive skills training this year, he had started individual skills training na pala with a Pinoy skills trainer here in the Philippines.

I have this funny feeling that maybe if only the Japanese aren't aware of Kelly Williams' age, a B-league team might show interest on him playing for their team.

Safe to say Kobe wasn't interested in being another AVO.

Kala ko ba watusi lang yung kay Japeth na post ko sabi ng mga hater?

Eh bakit hanggang ngayon nirerepost ng ibat ibang pages?

    Eto malaki.

No truth to the “retirement package” offered by Ginebra management—- YET. As of now.

But Bleague sources told me they are willing to match offers just so that they can get Japeth to play before the current season ends.

BLeague teams can get new imports until February or March. Provided that the border control eases.

Aside from Japeth, also eyed to play as late addition in the current BLeague season are Matthew Wright, Jayson Castro and CJ Perez.

Looks like the CBA and KBL rules on Asian imports allow non-FIBA eligible players.

Looks like madagdagan na naman ang sakit ng ulo nina Long Hair, kume Marcial & the SMC & PBA people

In more lighthearted news, Dwight Ramos is fast gaining a female following in Japan. Parang Rukawa effect.

I think that claimed "retirement package" for Japeth by Ginebra is meant to extinguish the fire. Lumalaki na kasi ang apoy so desperado na si Long Hair to mitigate the fire before it gets out of hand.

But it seems the fire is growing in each passing day.

China will definitely restrict our players from playing for Gilas, so I don't support Gilas eligibles to play there like Japeth, Terrence, Junmar, and CJ. Yung iba oks lang.

If some of these players mentioned would play either in China or Korea, this would balance the competition in the PBA. Hence, teams like NLEX, Alaska, ROS, Northport, will have a better chance of winning championships in the PBA.

Imagine an SMB team without Junmar & CJ Perez. A Ginebra team without Japeth & stanley Pringle. A TNT team without Castro & Troy Rosario. And a Magnolia team w/o Paul Lee & Sangalang.

I see Leo Austria getting his butts kicked as SMB coach becoz without his marque players, he can't lead SMB to a decent finish. Austria looked good a coach becoz of the decisive edge in talent his SMB team have over the rest of the pack.

I see it otherwise. I mean Junmar, Japeth, Romeo, Perez staying in the PBA, di rin naman sila ipapahiram ng SMC sa Gilas so I would rather see them play in China na lang.
