Is that commendable when a 17yr old bested a projected number 1 19yr old?lol in youth tournaments a 2 yr difference is so massive.lol it is like a grade 4 student getting the best of a 6th grader that is embarrassing.
Kai had a hard time with Prosper? Just imagine Chet playing against lester.haha just one hard foul of LP would send Chet to the hospital. Prob ng negatrons di nagiisip.haha chet will freeze just standing beside LP.haha He was even scared playing against u19 Mali and was relegated to guarding perimeter players.haha
Chet was scared to take the ignite offer because he will be exposed.lol then took his ass playing teenagers and was at best average.haha kai had almost the same stat at 17.hahaLast edited by PeeZones; 09-19-2021, 06:28 AM.

Kai Sotto got to know the Filipinos living in Adelaide over the weekend. In a get-together organized by the Filipino Communities Council of Australia, the 19-year-old Filipino joined his compatriots in a fun-filled day. Meanwhile, Sotto felt humbled by the warm welcome he received. “Kai was really happy to be welcomed by our kababayans there,” […]Philippine Malditas to FIFA Womens World Cup 2023

Offered to NBL teams by EWP, not offered a contract by NBL teams . Please know what you're talking about.
It's nothing to debate as it's confirmed many many times . That EWP approached many teams.. confirmed by the teams themselves and many people involved
Same way EWP kai's handlers "offered " Kai services to Gilas last March , when he was.with Ignite.
"OFFERED "
No one is saying Kai is not qualified as an Asian import or eligible as an open import .
He just didn't qualify as a next star player when sought after being assessed.Last edited by DAdmiral; 09-20-2021, 08:23 PM.

Nothing u said contradicts that Kai was offered to other teams. EwP looking for teams for best deal is their job , that doesn't mean he wasn't in demand .
Being in demand doesn't mean the supplier agent does not look for buyers for the best deal. This is basic knowledge and common sense
It's really this simple if Tamayo was offered to NBL teams as an Asian import , there will be many takers, he will be in demand. , ther are 7 Asian import spots available.
But if a NBL or team tried to sign him up under a next star sign up, that requires assessment if he qualified to avail of the free money funding from.NBL, Carl would fail to qualify as a next star sign up..super clear . Nothing to argue reallyLast edited by DAdmiral; 09-20-2021, 08:40 PM.

I leave it to the sensible to figure out and arrive with their own conclusion, believe what you want. these are the facts.
1. The NEXT STAR program funds sign-ups a significant salary for those who qualify
2. There is no such rule that prohibits anyone ( NBL team, sponsors etc) to give a player under a next star program more money.. (NONE whatsoever)

Final answer na ba yan, analyzed?
So, your story is, after one team tried but kai was "assessed" by the league as not qualified, an idiot tried again and then another idiot tried? Mga tarantado na lang tlga maniniwala sa kwentong kutsero mo hype ka.

Nitpicking post is really irrelevant.
Bottomline any sensible person would know teams would try to have Kai assessed to use the free funding to sign Kai. .
It's basic common sense, of course if he has already been assessed, their attempts and thoughts on how to sign him will be via another classification. This is common sense and does not need to be explained. And if you read my post to mean different, then you're simply not thinking or just trying to find fault. .
Anyway no need to convince anyone , believe what u want , that not a single team and the NBL didn't try to sign him as a next star. Go ahead believe that. Kai being such a unique young player that he would take a different path as all the next star players , lamelo , Giddey etc. Feel fee to believe that narrative.
