Well, better offensive team won. Just as I said, offense wins titles, unless offense is unified with defence, then it definitely wins titles Saras indeed is taking to much from coaches like Obradovic, it wasn't the team that he collected himself, but nevertheless it's indication that with such style he may not dominate EL in titles. Efes model shows that if you have 2 elite offensive guards (MVP level) you in supreme position. Efes the the future of BB, Barsa a little bit of an old school. IMO, Saras should rethink his system a little bit and add more ISO offensive talent.

Congrats to all Efes fans all around the world. They are deservedly champions. Once again the best basketball team in Turkish basketball history. Nothing could take this cup away from them.

As for Barca, they will continue their progress. Once their new arena will be ready, I think the EL will allow the city to host a Final Four championship. There they will have their chance in front of their fans. This year was for Efes. They were by far the best team last year and deserved to be champions.

I am especially happy for Dunston. He put up with all those bullshit seasons of Efes year after year and finally he got what he deserved.

I think it was important to start with Larkin to let him get his pace and rhythm. I mean it was clear that Barca wont be able to break the game. A very bad shooting day of Efes btw. Calathes choked as expected and was also relentlessly attacked by Larkin. Barca could only be in the game with rebounds which ended with the contribution of Moerman. Anderson and Moerman are the only clear rebounder in this team. At the beginning of the last quarter they tried to use Sanli 4 times but this was a bad idea since he is not used to use such crucial balls.

Barca is a team with bad chemistry. They can surely defend but if your only option is to use Kuric as pin-down shooter and Higgins iso plays what do you expect? Mirotic was a catastrophe on the other hand. Not only his defense is trash he couldnt show anything in offense too. Like I said was indeed the toughest game.

Many Fenerbahce fans say that Ergin Ataman is an overrated coach that is worth nothing yet the guy have won a Saporta Cup with Montepaschi, a EuroChallenge with Besiktas, a Eurocup with Galatasaray and now a Euroleague with Efes. That’s a very interesting stat that is quite unique in Europe.

You can not win the cups with beautiful words... you must play the games first. To believe is something good but acting like medium...

Well deserved! Been expecting this for.. well, pretty much my entire lifetime.
Nice to see Pleiss going all the way in his hometown.

Saras has always been my favourite EL player but he seems to be pushing it too hard as a head coach. He has two incredible players in Davies and Higgins but they always have to earn their own bread in offense and this has been a recurring theme all season long. I dont know how much say he had in building the current roster, but this is obviously not the most efficient way of utilizing Barca´s (quite comprehensive) resources.
Hanga only for 7 seconds, why? (Did he pick up an injury that I missed?) Instead he goes 25 mins with the glorified Kenan Sipahi that is Leandro Bolmaro.

Besides, I think I would not be the only one to say that, a 100% healthy Calathes would not have made any significant difference today.
