there's a normal bell curve, Peezones ( lottery) and DAdmiral (undrafted) as the extremes, with the rest of us smacked in the late first rd- mid 2nd rd category.

surprsingly, no takers for late 2nd round

Wait. WE CAN'T CHANGE OUR PREDICTION RIGHT???

    HEHE.

Obviously, Kai's Performance in Gilas and NBL will show his draft stock.

But I would agree with most here. Late First at best, MId Second at worst

If the question is this years draft. I am pretty sure a lot will pick late second. Including me.

But 1 yr with Gilas and NBL can be a huge factor up (and also down ofc).

I belive Most Posters here thinks the extra 1 yr Continuous Basketball in Good Competition league will rise Kai Sotto's draft stock

My prediction before was late lottery to mid second round. I'll change it to late lottery to late first round.

    10pick to 30th pick

The biggest opportunity for him to raise his stock is the main FIBA Asia cup this August.. This is what i said this before.. To be atleast a Mythical 5 team, Led Gilas atleast Final 4 appearance and having a good stat in his campaign there will definitely raise his stock.. I don't know in Adelaide because we all know Kai is signed only as developmental player and will play behind Humpries then he will not get majority of playing time..

The undrafted signed prediction was for the 2021 draft,, i'll reserve my prediction after a few 36ers games, which obviously is a big factor that will influence his stock.. I think if he does well in Adeliade (15 min a game) , he can be a 2nd round pick

why not, late 2nd round to undrafted.

if he does well, late 2nd round. if not, undrafted. but like Dave, even if undrafted but he is showing progress, he'll get signed afterwards.

We still need to watch him on a live game even one time before we make an assumption..

Can I reserve my judgment until Kai plays a number of games in the NBL?

If not, then this is my current prediction: Second Round.

Not having seen Kai play 5 on 5 for a long time I would say 2nd round. The kid has the height and work ethic so I think an NBA team will get him there.

I think the NBL is a way for Kai to actually play 5 on 5 and prove he belongs in the NBA. He gets another year to develop. For me the best thing is I will actually see Kai play some hoops.
