I watched only second half...not much to tell from Latvian side, really bad showing, but I guess they wanted to hide some cards prior to their game vs Serbia.
What stood out from Lithuanian side was Grigonis' playmaking, he was easily creating shots for outside shooters or inside looks for big men. Can he do this consistently? Saw couple of moves by Brazdeikis, seems fluid with ball in his hands, and has a knack for ISO scoring. Could be an unexpected weapon for your team.

In my opinion Brazdeikis' drives will be a problem to majority of his opponents, specially that he with his sturdy body can move to 2 a bit. He's finishing with a contact nicely. Here's the highlight where he intimidates really tough guy Grazulis. He tends to sustain the balance after the contact, that's probably his best trait as a scorer. But the biggest surprise is how reliable his jump shot has been looking in these 2 games. Well, we'll definitely see some ups and downs during the summer, but if he will shoot with such confidence in Eurobasket, Lithuania will be blessed.
I feel like Sedekerskis = E. Zukauskas. Would be tough decision to choose one.
Grigonis showed some life.
Bulgaria should be a no problem. But the game against Czechs with Satoransky seems pretty unpredictable. If we will hustle and will provide intensity as tonight, we should still probably do it. We need all the points we can get to the next round that our WC ticket wouldn't be at high stake.LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

Brazdeikis is better than i imagined. Pleasant suprise. We can see how manny weapons he has 1 vs 1.
Lithuanian basketball school never would prepare such level offensive player.Americans are miles ahead in preparing 1 vs 1 players.
Sedekerskis and Zukauskas better start playing better because Masiulis again is trying to steal PF place on bench.
I cant stand seeing how Sf Brazdeikis and PF Masiulis is better long distance shooters than our guards. It simply cant be like that or those guards cant play on highest levels in todays basketball.
Grigonis emotional battle with Bertans i enjoyed alot.We missed such huligans on our NT since Maciulis,Kleiza,Jankunas retired.Too manny good guys.
Coach admited in conference that he invited : Not only Lekavicius but also Janavicius,Zemaitis,Giedraitis,Bickauskis all didnt want to play in this 2 window games in first month of summer.
Thats why we see Sabeckis and Cizauskas

Yeah, it's good that Maksvytis cleared things out. He usually gives these answers a bit late, but he did. To be honest Sabeckis and Cizauskas (OK, defensively I like his intensity) has been trash in these 2 games. Velicka today was at least close to what I want to see, some quality at least.
I think the reason why Masiulis has more chances to make it than most fans realize is that he is used as stretch 5 primarily. A guy who can play the 5 pretty comfortably, switch all or step out high, while offensively he roles or pops for three pointer. While Sedekerskis and Zukauskas are PFs, Masiulis is light stretch 5. But I don't want him in the NT nevertheless.
Grigonis has been dishing the ball nicely today. He is capable doing that. Again, a lot will depend on what kind of Grigonis we'll have in Eurobasket. He will either play smart and will lift us or he will be nervous chucker and will sink us. You can clearly feel that he will want things into his hands a lot. Against Slovenia he choked. Now I hope he'll be better.LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

Grigonis have Maciulis emotional character such player gonna make stupid things, get tehcnicals, shout at everybody and so on.
But when game on the line hooligans arent affraid of the moment thats the key i take from such personalities.Nobody made more cluths shots/plays in last 10 years from lithuanians than Maciulis and Grigonis did.
Im not big fan of Masiulis. But round 1 he won and i give him credit for that.
Masiulis was good on defence too. When Sedekerskis with Masiulis was our ale 2 bigs with switch everything we run away with the game in 3querter.

If Masiulis was a bit tougher and a bit more consistent, I would love such stretch 5.LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

He has been choosing clubs where he is getting significant amount of minutes and improving through playing. I do feel that for him a one or even two years with less playing time (especially at the beggining) but with higher quality teammates and coach could be beneficial. It's something that he has not tried so far, so a new situational stimulus could be good. I could see an opportunity where he has very clearly defined role and expectations being beneficial for him, as it would allow him to learn to do exactly what coach wants....

Gytis Masiulis certainly demonstrated today why he factors into the thinking when it comes to selecting the twelve players on the Team Lietuve roster. Case closed.

Bruzas still sees Kuzminskas as 4 and nearly starting line-up. IDK, dude, really doubt...Is he still even worth NT? I mean he's trash defensively. Can he even bring some offense still? And how much? And in which position he feels best? To me both Kuzminskas and R. Giedraitis are the same kind lately. They are playing in EL, but they are not providing anything to NT. When I know that Sedekerskis will provide defence, roughness, athleticism, rebounding and it comes on a daily basis, I don't know what Kuz and R. Giedraitis provide if anything. Off course, R. Giedraitis is a lock. He's a shooter, he's athletic and he's in his prime, so he should be in. But do we need Kuz? I don't know...
Also, I'm kinda changing my take on D. Giedraitis. Watching Dimsa in most cases is disappointment. I already miss what I've seen in Dovis in LKL PO. Different talent, coordination, smoothness, creativity, IQ, defence. IMO, if can have D. Giedraitis in the camp, he should be in. I have a feeling healthy and fresh D. Giedraitis (Canak worn him down a bit and he wasn't himself against Rytas already) is a better player than Dimsa, Velicka. Different decision making, different talent. I hate to hear a rumor that he has some health issues in off season, Maybe nothing serious, just that sprained ankle in LKL PO.LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:
