Depends on how far Denver go in this playoffs, the farther they go, the slimmer the chance he play.

Too bad we're not at the same group as Slovenia, as Luka said he'll be playing

Would like to see it as well. Poku has a unique skillset for a 7 footer. Would be enjoyable to watch. Thunder got a steal if he is developed well.

        • poku is pretty much chet holgrem. if he and kai both do play they won't be matched against each other, poku will be playing in the wings

Any player who's over 7'2 that played high level basketball have short careers, biological speaking they all gonna have problem with their feet, knees and coaches have tendency to play this guys too long minutes. The Chinese coaching staff were so pissed at Van Gundy for playing Yao Ming too long on the floor and they think that American coaches just ignore the science.Porzingis began having injuries when started gaining weight,he practically played close to 300lbs at one point and he didn't changed his playing style, still dunking hard.Holgren and Poku will probably last longer due to the way their body structure, they're not built like giants they look and move like a quick and athletic 6'9-6'10 guys and if they do end up with good coaches, they will position them comfortably.

They don't have the body to survive in the paint. Even Anthony Davis doesn't want to play 5 because it's too hard on the body. Unless you have the Ayton, Embiid, Jokic build to absorb all the contact

              • Kai will be less injury prone if he doesnt go beyond 260lbs at his prime.
250lbs and 10% or less body fat could be his best working weight in his twenties.

His body is for no more than a stretch four -- a part-time center at most. Classical or old school centers are the 260-290 big-boned bigs who can sledgehammer their way in the paint.
                Not a 290lb belga though.

They also don't have African genes to absorb just like Durant skills... That's why Kai should enumerate Jokic's skills because that is exactly skills for his style and his body type..
Jokic uses his body to create space and absorb the bumps defenders give him a lot of times. Kai wont have that luxury.
WE DON'T COUNT YEARS, WE COUNT CENTURIES

                  P. Noval, A.H. Lacson, Dapitan, Espanya

Yes. Kai needs to be more prepositioned for his favorite slam, hook and close-range shots. He can never be a prime shaq who can kill whatever number of victims are in the paint. Even jokic is about 280lbs now.

He's apparently gonna coach for the OQT as well. Hope the kids show their progress here, at least.

                      • SBP finally stopping the "show" that it isn't Tab who's the real one coaching. Expect no PBA players if he goes on to coach until 2023 woohoo!

On a side note, must win for Tab to beat Korea, otherwise, there will be noise for an ouster as Gilas director

                        • Excited to see Gilas after the OQT. I don't care if we don't win a game but facing teams stronger than most Asian teams is good experience for them - esp.right before the main Asia Cup

Lol not really, we couldn't beat Korea even when we had Jordan Clarkson, Stanley Pringle and stanhardinger.

Expecting to beat Korea with a college team that has not played competitive 5 on 5 tournaments in more than a year and kai Sotto who technically only trained with gilas for less than 10 sessions isn't really a lot.

He has nothing to lose and everything to gain here, especially if gilas puts on a strong fight even in a losing effort.

Not really as holgrem and Poku have shown the skill and defense capability to play the 3/4 position, while kristaps is strictly a 4/5 guy. Having both know how to play the 3 position will do wonders for them vs. Kp

Kai will be less injury prone if Quinito stop overblowing his real height,I can imagine him saying that Boban's real height is 7'5 if Kai stands next to him looking shorter.Boban is 7'3 barefoot,7'4 with shoes on.Last time Kai was measured was 7'1 3/4 that makes him 7'2 and we all saw him standing next to former teamate Jordan Wilmore who's a legit 7'3,even Sage who's a 7'1 playing next to Kai,there's not much difference in their height.
