Aside from the 8 Pinoys in the B-League, anybody here knows who are the other Asian imports that were signed up? I know Jawato is one, who are others? I saw the post in FIBA Asia Cup Instagram account, a montage of Asian players in the B-League, as it is the league's opening day soon.

I saw an Aussie, a Taiwanese, Korean, Kiwi and Jawato. Cant identify those players tho.

I don't want to be labeled as the "talangka" in this forum and I wish I'm proven wrong but it's inevitable someone from this group of players will have a unsuccessful career playing basketball outside the Philippines. Who do you guys think will it be?

thirdy & javi both need to have an improved & consistent 3pt shot in order to survive in foreign leagues. thirdy being brought back by san-en is more of a business move than a basketball one seeing his commercial impact. the rest of the players will be fine even if they don't add/improve on their current skillsets

he believes kai will make the NBA. Just not next year or be drafted.

He's 7'3" and can do a lot of things and nice touch.

He doesn't expect Kai to be physically mature for NBA until 25.... But he thinks he should be in NBA team in 2 or 3 years.

This is from a coaching colleague from Brisbane who met with CJ last week.

To me this is a very positive assessment .

So,there might be a possibility that Kai and Chet will be in the same draft year then.Interesting,this would be a rivalry starting from the day of the draft thru the NBA season.

So yes 2022 is his draft year, but looks unlikely to be drafted, based on assessment of most people who have been involved with him.

The prudent thing for NBA teams based on his current NBA readiness of still 2 or 3 years away, is to wait after being undrafted then sign him as a free agent like Landale
If people ask why won't NBA teams draft and secure him for his upside, based on assement of others he simply is not viewed as.one of the top prospects for his age group., teams would rather use their pick on higher ranked eligible young players

Kemark Cariño as well. He needs to work on his defense and his offense if he wants to survive in the B.League. B.League bigmen are usually imports so these players are really skilled. Kemark needs to work double time.

In my opinion, there will be 3 Pinoy players that can really have an immediate impact to their teams - Ray Parks, Dwight Ramos and Kiefer Ravena.
