How can a league start with 14 teams in their first season...
Then in the second season only 3 teams return....
So 11 teams have dropped out of the league...

This season it looks like there will be 8 teams in the vismin super cup with 5 of the teams being brand new.

One can’t have much faith in this league

They installed a new commissioner. They are intentionally limiting the teams who will participate the league to ensure that all teams have genuine intention to compete - in response to the suspected game fixing in one of their matches last season. In other words, this second season is actually a reformation because of the events that transpired during the first season.

3 players from the Ormoc team in MPBL.
More players from the other teams went to MPBL.

It seems like this league is a feeder for the MPBL, which is fine, but I don’t see this league changing the basketball landscape.

Also, the import rule is dumb, you had to have played collegiate basketball in country to be allowed to be an import....
another rule which won’t help the league be successful.

Allow any import player, it is so simple, but these leagues don’t like simple.
