zen - khi: should be like 50-50 game.
efs- bay: don't know, Efes is in very bad shape right now, without Sanli, Dunston, Beaubois and Larkin is in bad shape too, who knows.
zal - csk: ok, cska traveled without Voigtmann and Strelnieks, but James is back, and they are big favorites in Kaunas. Difficult game for Zalgiris.
bas - fnb: Fenerbahce without De Colo isn't the same team. I don't expect humiliation like last week in Barcelona.
val - pao: Valencia is pretty solid team, and they are favorites tonight.
rmb - mta: OK, Real is in great form, easy victory for them.
ber - asv: Asvel is the worst team in euroleague, alba is the second worst. Don't know what to expect.
axm - czv: Armani is out of their rhythm for sure, but they are better than red star.

Zenit off their game on defense so far....Khimki awful defense too......

Zenit according to the stats plays the slowest pace in the league and gives up the second fewest points per game......The style of this game playing out different so far....

Trinchieri's Bayern is defensively really a great team. Additionally refs today whistle every contact, if they change it into a little dirtwork that is allowed it would go additionally in their favor. Really impressive how disciplined they are.

Jankunas and Lauvergne starting in the same frontcourt? Seems real slow.

Again an unnecessary loss for Efes. Larkin got covid after his first game, Simon injured, Dunston got a finger in his eye, Beabois bone under his eye is broken and we just werent ready to stop Bayern player from driving. They play very simple like drive and kick out and either drive again or take the shot but ok we need a story so the start of the winning team is always hard.

One comment about Erten Gazi. Great energy and very pesky, avoids the screens very well and forces the screener to move which causes often an offensive foul. Also had two important offensive rebounds, should learn to drive in Euroleague and shot doesnt look half bad as well.

Was watching Khimki-Zenit so i had to miss that one sadly......

Looks as though Trinchieri has them playing really hard defense, and Reynolds is becoming the emotional leader of that team.....

Fener plays awfully with awful energy. I think playoffs are considering teams like Bayern etc. less probable

So much for Polanara. Peters looking great. Of course I took Polanara off my EFC teams, but did not put Peters in.

I don't think we were as bad as say last week or Bayern second half. Even without De Colo we find open shots but Eddie, Melih, Ulanovas, Barthel... Need to make those shots, at least a few of them. Otherwise we're simply dead. 5/26 from 3pt is horrendous.

On the other hand Baskonia reached 12/24 from 3pt when they broke the game, which is outrageous compared to their usual percentage - but you could say our mistakes at defense led to that.

P.S. One silver lining was the performances of Vesely and Brown, they tried to lead the team. Also Kenan did some stuff when it mattered in a Euroleague game, which is more than I had expected from him.

Well, the problem I was afraid of is happening. There are too many "specialists" in this team who are strong on one side but awful on the other areas. Kenan took the game to a certain point but couldnt make two open shots for instance. Of course the absence of de Colo hurts but on the one side i am sure that Vesely and De Colo are awful leaders and you could build a better team with this money on the other hand.

I was not sure about Sengüns EL readiness but considering Hamiltons level Sengün would have been the cheaper and far better choise and there are surely better options elsewhere too.
