Zalgiris is targeting Bonzie Colson as a possible Hayes replacement next season.

Streetballer, but not as bad and stupid streetballer as Ulanovas and Melih for instance. A little bit slow and bad shooter but I have feeling he isn't stupid player which is the second most important quality.

    I am satisfied for now

A bit small sample size, but O'Quinn is shooting 67% from 2p (12/18) and 50% from 3p (2/4) in Euroleague right now.

    He's 86% from 2p (19/22)
    0% from 3p (0/2)
100% from ft (7/7) in Turkish league.

I'm satisfied with where he is right now, he can be better as he gets acclimated to European basketball and his teammates.

His good shooting percentage comes mostly from assisted shoots at the rim and like you said it's small sample. I didn't notice he made middle range shoots(just one or two maybe). But like I said he isn't stupid player and that's big quality imo

    He also took three pointers

But I don't think that this should be taken into consideration too often

Btw I like him, too. Looks surprisingly well incorporated, he is still new.

Guys who follow NBA had said that he's a very good locker room presence, in terms of communication with others and coach. I think that's one of the main reasons for his quick involvement

news about new mta roster are confortable: dorsey bryant (players with talent but too individualist and devoted to force offensive actions) out, tj leaf, yabusele ,booker in
but i would consider sfairo future too. not sure if it will be right to fire him, but is something owners should consider. if we could bring coaches like trinchieri, dusko, laso, de raffaele, bartzokas, well i'd repleace sfairo easily.

https://www.eurohoops.net/tr/tradema...cek-10-oyuncu/A good article on eurohoops about players playing in TBL, who can make a move upward. I am especially curious about Marial Shayok, he has been a revelation as far!

You're welcome. I don't know what you guys thinking but I think Shayok has a really bright future if he stays in Europe. It has been only a couple of months so far for him playing overseas, but his game perfectly fits here. According to his scouting reports earlier before turning pro, he is a disciplined player which is also a plus for him. I hope we consider him for next year, He is a Canadian so I am pretty sure Gherardini has an eye on him.

Except Şengün, Hazer, Wiltjer and Blackmon, i don't have any idea about other players cause i did not have a chance to watch them... but about Şengün and Hazer; yes waiting for higher places, and Wiltjer (i'm not sure because of Oly days) has a good improvement. I could be wrong but i can't put Blackmon close to European elite guards, at least for now. As far as i understand Shayok is a must watch. Maybe Toruko can say something about these players as a better follower.

I don't have an expectation from Gherardini that he will start something he never did in his Fener career, scouting Turkish league.

Of course that league is full of interesting guys, but we rather bring mediocre players from other countries.

I would pick Blackmoon and Hazer right away. Sengun isn't player for Fener, undersized and bad shooter, just rebounder for now.

Sengün would be a main contributor level player in Euroleague, especially next season. His legs are a bit weak right now but I expect him to perform at least like Sanli right now. No critics about Sanli, he has been doing a great job for weeks.

Hazer is a much bigger question mark: he is far too sloppy and careless right now, uses too many balls carelessly but he also could take a smaller role in Euroleague. Decision making, court vision and shooting must improve.

Wiltjier is a very good shooter but too much one dimensional. Average defense, below average rebounding and finishing near the rim but he is a very good shooter so that he could fill out a role in EL.

Blackmon is everthing but nothing near elite in anything. He is one of the worst decision maker that I saw in my life. He is surely not able to finish at the rim in Euroleague, Shoot is either great or terrible, he sees nothing on the court and has only one thing in mind... to score. Of course he is deadly if he is hot but it happens not very often. My opinion... not even near EL level.

    My "must watch" list is:

Sam Dekker (great offensive player but bad defensively)
Kyle Wiltjier (same more or less)
    Alperen Sengün (MVP)
Akoon-Purcell (Tofas Bursa), too many ups and downs but a unbelievably complete wing. Surely EL material in 1 or 2 years
    Mohammadou Jaiteh (Antep)
    Okben Ulubay (Petkim)
    J.P. Macura (Afyon)
Marial Shayok (Bursa) moves very well and shoots well on the move, good overall scorer, really good.
Egemen Güven, really bad defender but a very versatile offensive player.
Ercan Osmani (Besiktas) was very unlucky with injuries this season but a guy with some NBA upside but needs time to bulk up and polish his movements.

in the meanwhile new name for us is j smith. another error, as mta scouts misconsider percent. he scored 17 point per game but 45% 2fg and 35%3fg. mediocre
we should start thinking of players with at least 50% 2fg and 40%3fg. not less. doesnt matter points they score as we must consider players who knows how to play with teammates. not individualists. i wonder why we never think of players like pangos or eriksson for example. as howard or grigonis. our mind is always focused on showtime players. we must change view
