Official: Mantas Kalnietis back with Žalgiris for two years.

Given the loss of Lithuanians, the fact that he was VTB MVP and that he's coming as a backup PG - it's a great addition. Especially to the locker. The only problem is that I'm not really sure if Schiller is the coach to exploit his strengths and hide his weaknesses.

Žalgiris is still looking for main PG (Jaleen Smith is their main option), main SG (Darrun Hillard) and a rim protector that can play PF-C (Josh Nebo).

Coner Frankamp with a 2 year contract for Zenit.
It's an ideal back up for Pangos.
The guy played for Rethymno in Greece last year and he was amazing and his salary was about 150-200k.
I was wondering why OLY-PANA didn't make a move for such a low price hight quality P.G.
The guy goes to Murthia and had 15,7p and 3,5ass in ACB.
    Great addition for Zenit.

According to 24sek.lt, Zalgiris is trying to sign Corey Walden and there's a possibility that they've reached a verbal agreement. Although, not sure whether this info should be treated reliably as he was strongly linked to Bayern earlier.

He is considered to be a promising talent. Maccabi's fans wanted this player but it was clear that he wouldn't have returned to Israel after the brief war, he was one of the first Americans who left the country.

I hope that rumors about Oliver Reed aren't true. A slow C very similar to Zizic, exactly what the team does not need.

He has another year of contract, but a 400K escape clause for any EL team. I am confident he will stay.

You might be right... anyway I guess Virtus is hoping to get an A-license for EL starting from 2022/2023.. so maybe Scariolo won't need to win Eurocup

Dinos Mitoglou for 2 years in Milan. (99% sure)
For me he has the potencial to be the dominant P.F in EL.

Regarding that Jovic denied official deal with Zvezda and he is still FA, Kokoskov should try to bring him. I like him more then Henry

It's already clear that Barca will be 1st favorite again for the title. They are even stronger then last season for Sanli(best EL center)
CSKA is 2nd favorite(if Pangos come maybe even 1st)
Yet to see what will Armani and Efes do in the market, but Barca and CSKA are far away in this moment.

Fener is mistery for me because I don't know what will happen with De Colo.

    The good:

Here is important what he can give you. He always had the ability to box out his opponents under the rim. This makes him a prolific rebounder with great instincts. He is a good passer too. His strong hand is his right hand but he can also use his left hand too. Can find cutters very well.

Defensively, he has a good understanding of the game. You can let him switch, with his solid foot work he can also stand in front of nearly anyone.

The bad: He was a bad shooter with a weird trajectory of his shot. His legs are still weak which makes him very unbalanced. He can hardly stay if it comes to finish at the rim. His leaping ability is restricted and he is soft.

He improved his shot a lot during the last season but its still not reliable. He can make 4/7 as well as 1/7. but his shot improved undeniably. Another problem is he loses the ball very often after grabbing rebounds. I dont know why but he cant secure the ball after he lands. This will make you crazy I am sure.

I just really hope to see Virtus and especially their fans back in the Euroleague as soon as possible.

It's great that De Colo is staying. But why just one more year?

I am sure he can play on highest level at least next 3 seasons

De Colo stays 1 more year. https://www.fenerbahce.org/haberler/...rbahce-beko-da

    So now we have:

    Henry(90%) - ???? - Akpinar
De Colo - Guduric - Mahmutoglu
    Pierre - Shayok - Biberovic - Eddie(?) - Birsen
    Polonara(99%) - Barthel(?)
    Vesely - Booker - Duverioglu

Polonara is all but confirmed, Henry will probably join unless an NBA offer comes in
Eddie will probably be out, Barthel might leave if there's a team that wants him

The defense will probably be an issue even with Henry, looking at our bigs. But there's a high scoring potential with this team

I would like a better shooter in backup PG I think. I'm aware our defense is also lacking but still...

I would also love if we can get out of Barthel's contract and bring in a better defender there.

P.S. Added Biberovic now. Melih is there as Mahmutoglu (unfortunately )

Jovic improved his shoot a lot. I always prefer good shooters too, but creativity and court vision he has, you can't find anymore on the market.

Regarding Barthel I would like to stay, Just as barrier from coming of some streetballer like Williams. he could be decent 2nd pf

We have long history of streetballers in frontcourt and that hurted us a lot. Bennett, Thomas, Williams, Hamilton, O'Quinn

This could be the first season for resting minds of clowns
