Apparently the site has been targeted with a lot of DDoS attacks and the CAPTCHA is used to help mitigate against this. But it's frustrating having to answer them every time you just want to check the forums.

Zvezda is very strong this season and it's possible win. Blowing out is something I don't expect from any team in this game.

I guess it was another DDoS attack all this month, cause I couldn't open the forum whenever I've tried, but since I see that some action on forum was happening, maybe just my timing was bad (tried some couple of times a week). Anyway smth was still wrong. I'm not much into IT stuff, but let's say ever since this captcha thing was created (maybe a year ago), at least I noticed way less spam attacks too. At times it still happens, but I don't remember such attacks when you had to delete some hundred threads per day, mostly each manually I'm fully aware that for users it usually goes unnoticed, but forums experiences massive load of such crap Probably all these DDoS and spamming attacks is the reason why creator of IBN Stuart decided to add this captcha, maybe there was no other way around to keep it going
