Any value on Mickey (Monroe injured, right?), Dorsey, Yabusele and Lauvergne?
Hi Guys!Great to see you all back here...Monroe is douftful and a last minute decision and Yabusele is rumoured to be infected with Covid-19.Lauvergne could be an option but not for the first game.I assume it will be a very closed one with low PIR from both Oly & Zalgiris sides.
Some hidden gems from my side: Abrines,Pangos,M.Fall,Baldwin,H.Martin.What is your opinion for them?
I'd say even while Lauvergne is in very good shape, he ain't a focal point of an offensive for Zalgiris. Green-whites in the first three domestic league games attempted nearly 30 three-pointers per game. In this case, choosing Lauvergne highly depends on Olympiacos front-court and their PnR defense. If they ain't moving quickly, Lauvergne might cause a lot of trouble, otherwise, Zalgiris will be shooting threes rather than posting-up. Schiller prefers threes if you're semi-open or even in fast-breaks.
Abrines was playing decent basketball, but since Higgins is back it ain't ensure that he will be playing a lot of minutes.
Larkin underwent surgery on June, he's not fully recovered yet.
Plus, he will not play in Turkish league until January. He needs to plan in national game to get right to play as Turkish which suppose to happen in January. If he plays before this, he will not be accepted as Turkish. That's why Ataman will keep him until then.
