I understand Mason Amos (the elder one) is around 6-foot-7 or maybe 6-foot-8 & plays as a natural 4.
CJ is already around 6' 3" should grow to 6'4 , i see him as Norwood type, defensive specialist with good handles

A.lot will depend if he will continue basketball beyond high school. Unlike homegrown, because of the different options in life in western society (remember Jozef who became a lawyer) many drop out of the grind .. Xavier might to.. I've seen it a.lot from.Kids here ..
Understand the dilemma, of life choices in Australia, as an example my eldest son who works in Melbourne, actually earns more than most PBA stars.

Related to that earlier this week asked my baller son of his assement of Ateneo and Gilas players he trained with.
He was SJ shooting partner and trained with Keifer , Thirdy a few times.
In his assement given the reps he can potentially get to level of SJ and Tio (Ateneo guards), it will be a long pecking order however to make the A team.of Ateneo and he would have to pay his dues over 2 or 3 seasons to be elevated. (It's the normal.proces in Atene).
Just his opinion having played with Nz junior players and comparing them to Areneo , the NZ player are more talented . (Taine Murray for example is already a rotation player for a high major UV div 1 as a freshman). Jordan trained with the best NZ guards and he sees the difference in levels.

Originally posted by IPC View PostWith some PBA teams adopting small-ball lineups, to the point that all 5 players are perimeter players, maybe this influence youth team coaches. This system is something that our youth teams can use to develop taller perimeter players, especially at the wings. This ideally is the case when the tallest local is 6'5" or 6'6", and there's no import. No need for a strict 5 out, just give your players license to play the perimeter and switch out.
But to be fair, we have been seeing small ball lineups in the collegiate level too. I hope we could see small ball lineups with wings measuring 6'4"-6'5" at the least.Originally posted by Silent Killer View Postthe lebron lopez wing batch is the most intriguing batch that unfortunately we never see them play. lots of wing players on that batch.. insert kai, raven and ibn’s fave player padrigao, we can probably medal the asiad championship u18..
We're seeing more, like Aldous Torculas, Jordi GDL, Jonnel Policarpio. Nice sight to see. I hope there could be a system to develop taller wings, but 6'4"-6'5", even 6'6" wings is a win for us.

- Will Navarro - 6’5-6’6
- Calvin Oftana - 6’4-6’5
- Dwight Ramos - 6’3-6’4
- Carl Tamayo - 6’6-6’7
and prospects that may be useful in 2-3 years…
-Francis Lopez - 6’5-6’6
-Mason Amos - 6’6 - 6’7
-Caelum Harris - 6’5- 6’6
I’d rather focus myself monitoring these players than continuously feel disappointed tracking Kobe’s development.

Originally posted by IPC View PostActually, we have players with upside at the wing position. I do hope they can succeed later on, though.
And weirdly, looks like the PG spot is the position we lack depth right now. Because after Kiefer, who is next? Not sold on Nietos. Delianos are wings not PG imo. And not yet sure how ready panopio will be.
