Fenerbahce had its first game against Besiktas and won with 79:77. Melih and Eddie looked in shape. Biberovic played just 4 minutes and looked fairly lost in the game. No points, one attempt, bad try

On Besiktas side Sengün had as expected 12 points in 20 minutes (with 6/8)
Egehan Arna had a good game against his old team with 12/6/6
Ercan Osmani, surprisingly Eray Akyüz and Sehmus Hazer had good games too.

There's now talk of the BCL having a reduced number of games for its regular season.

there is only one way to held this season..
in first part of the season bubble for european competitions(el, ec, fiba ec..), in 2nd part of season bubble for domestic competitions..

to specify for el, but same pattern for others competitions aswell..
17 rounds in regular phase,(one game against each other), and then starts play offs..in 2-3 months should be over...

          everything else would be circus..
but since there won't be bubble, be prepared for circus.

ECA Shareholders Executive Board approves modification of the Special Regulations due to COVID-19
The ECA Shareholders Executive Board confirmed the modification of the Special Regulations that were originally approved by the clubs in September 2020, as proposed by Euroleague Basketball. The modification becomes applicable immediately to both the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup, asserting their retroactive effect over the seven games that have been affected so far due to COVID-19 positive cases.

The modified Special Regulations will have retroactive effect toward any decisions already applied regarding the 2020–21 season, allowing cancelled games to be rescheduled by the Euroleague Basketball CEO. The games affected to date by these modifications are:

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne - Panathinaikos OPAP Athens (Regular Season, Round 3)
LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne - Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade (Regular Season, Round 4)
TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz - Zenit St. Petersburg (Regular Season, Round 3)
Valencia Basket - Zenit St. Petersburg (Regular Season, Round 4)

I've moved the post to this thread, hope you don't mind [Mindozas]

Yes, they've been fools, trying to play with 8 man squad, where some really young players were included.
They lost games, and Zenit and Asvel will have chances to win the games with full rosters. Khimki should sue that Jordi clown, really.
Even worst, by the official decision of Moscow region governer, they will play next 2 games without fans.Wondering if the same decision will be apllied on CSKA?! They belong to different region, Central Moscow

It has no impact on CSKA games as they belong to Moscow city, not region, as you already pointed out.

I agree with Khimki GM on this situation - the new rules are fine, but it should be valid only starting with the day they has been created to be completely fair

Yes it's very unfair to Khimki. On the other hand, why they played game against Baskonia? It was known by then that rules will be changed. Euroleague fucked up, but Khimki made bad decisions too.

you can't blame them just because they were not "smart" enough.

the proposal was on the table. just waiting for the signature,ok, but still not approved.

Messina has suggested postponing the rest of the European competitions until March and completing the domestic leagues before then.

AX Armani Exchange head coach: As for now, the only logical choice seems to be to put on hold the European competition and allow the national leagues to finish their season in the next four months since in-country traveling will be easier

Well, logically it's easier to travel within one country, but problem that there's still plenty of cases, so it already looks well too late for such plan to happen. France league already stopped their season, so with this fact alone, Messina's plan is already impossible, in Lithuania we have full team on quarantine, which doesn't play anywhere in Europe. Also these teams who plays in European competitions are probably minority in all leagues, so will the rest of clubs agree on 3-months season? I seriously doubt that. What they'll do for the rest of the season? Sponsors surely won't be glad about it and lot of these smaller clubs are barely alive nowadays. I think we'll have to deal with a fact that it's either the way it is and hope for the best, of course with some teams being luckier, either cancel it all again
