Next big News. Besiktas is close to take over nearly all Players of Bandirma, Bandirma Kirmizi and Bandirma youth.

Besides Şehmus Hazer, Alperen Şengün, Sadık Emir Kabaca, Furkan Haltalı they also get Ercan Osmani (a very talented big) and Eray Akyüz from the second Team (Kirmizi (red)) of Bandirma. Both has been carrying the second team to the for many years.

Besiktas is also taking over the 06/07 generation of Bandirma youth which is considered as very talented.

In return Bandirma will be able to pay all of its dues.

Idk what to think about it. If Bandirma keeps its structures and Besiktas let the young guys plays which is safe I dont mind the exchange. In any case a very smart move of Besiktas. I am really curious about the amount of the takeover

Idk if true but if it is true then its an amazing move.

BJK found an agreement with turkish progidy with nigerian background Adem Bona! BJK really collected the future national team. Letting them playing together will help the national team too. In the U19 + the A national team.

OK, it seems Bona doesnt want to play in Istanbul and his Mother doesnt want to send him to Istanbul by himself. I dont see the BJK deal coming.

The BJK - Bandirma deal is also ongoing. Details of the deal is that two of the four Sengün, Kabaca, Osmani and Haltali will be sent to Bandirma as a loan. Oguz Savas will sign with BJK again.

Hazers situation is interesting. He is with Hakan Demir in Bandirma and work out every day. It seems he is really gonna participate in the upcomming draft. There are also some rumors that some Euroleague teams are interested in him. Fenerbahce and Efes are not included so far.

Bursaspor (not Tofas) signed a very capable scorer with Newman. He was the MVP of the U17 wc tournament. Bursaspor also extended with Chris Jones.

The turkish basketball federation decided on 5 foreigners in the turkish league but one for the bench. So the solution is 4+1 and as far as I understand, one foreigner will always stay on the bench.

Bona transfer didnt happen and the third foreigner that BJK transferred is also a rookie pg. A bit surprising because everyone expected a experienced guy because the whole team will be super young, talented but young. Markell Johnson, played for NC State but i cant say anything about him. No clue what he is capable of.

What's the latest on Tofas? Ermis definitely gone and Mejia possibly retired? Is Lojeski staying?

Lojeski is gone, also Williams (official today), Ermis wants to play in Istanbul gone as well. Mejia isnt official now but most likely retiring. Tofas will be like Bandirma, just play with young Turks + 3 foreigners, cheap foreigners, BJK btw too.

Starting with the Center Muhsin Yasar will be the starting center, he is expected to make the next step.
His backup is a officially 2004 born nigerian rooted turkish player who is according to his appearance at least 19 but talented, David Ezekiel is his name. (Ege Demir in Turkish if i am not mistaken)

On 4 Berkan Durmaz, a 97 born, 206cm tall, 215 wingspan guy will start. Like Muhsin they expect to take over and its about time. His backup will be a NCAA returner Alihan Demir, not the fastest but has very solid fundamentals and can play 3 positions if needed.

On 3 there will be a guy from Netherlands, it is said that he is very athletic but i have never watched him. His backup is a 2003 born kid Batin Tuna. He is around 2 meters tall and a very good defender and everything else is not bad as well, just the shoot needs special work.

Tofas will buy a shooter and a Playmaker thats it. Its not clear if Berk Ugurlu will be the first pg or just backup. The backup of the shooting guard will be Mert Konuk a 99 born who was loaned to a second league club and returns. Talent wise the only guy that I doubt to be ready.

Thanks for this Toruko. You must be pretty excited because it sounds like a lot of Turkish young players will get big opportunities this season.

Galatasaray signed Baris Ermis from Tofas, a 2000 born PG from the second league Aydogan and former Bandirma Center Berke Atar.

Last chance of Berke Atar to show his worthiness. He must show full focus and effort on both ends of the floor to become a option for the nt.
