Burak Biyiktay, the coach of BJK talked to a channel today and explained their plan. BJK will play with max 3 foreign cheap but potential player and the rest will consist of young turkish prospects. Some of them will get heavy minutes and get leading roles, they will use the last decisive balls. The first goal is to develop a good team in 2-3 years, helping prospects to make the next step and in best case to sell them to Euroleague or NBA.

The BJK president Ahmet Nur Cebi talked with the president of the Demirören Group about basketball and Demirören gave his promise to help financially.

Fenerbahce and Karsiyaka applied for a second team in the second Turkish league TBL. After 7 years a step in the right direction to develop some prospects. The problem with the guys of the Turkish youth league (U19) is the gap between youth and super league. The guys are mostly not ready for the higher leagues and need to adapt 1-2 years in the second league. The The success of Bandirma was its second Team. Now Fenerbahce needs just a couple of talented guys.

Karsiyaka has a very capable team with solid guys. Will be a good season with progress.

Tofas will go for a partnership with Düzce

Such a nice farewell message. He must have certainly inspired many kids in Bandirma and in Bursa, both basketball towns. He was still a great player af 35+ years old.
I wish him best of luck in his future endeavors.

Türk Telekom signed a very interesting prospect from the Efes school. Göktug Bas, a small forward, 202cm tall who played a very important role in the U18 EC 2019. Not a star level player but a team player who does everything for the teams success. Well rounded defensive and offensive player who never demands any ball. A very solid spot up shooter, cant do much with the ball but runs fast breaks very well.

Efes cant gather all of its prospects and there are some other guys who are waiting for a contract from the turkish youth league BGL.

Another guy from Efes, Eren Has and Galatasarays big Ahmet Safa Yilmaz are also expected to be signed this season.

A really good player who I'm sure you enjoyed watching a lot. Even last season he still seemed to be the same player.

He was quite unfortunate in terms of his timing in signing with CSKA back in 2011 because of the NBA lockout and Kirilenko joining the team. That essentially ended any opportunity he was going to get there. But then he had a great career in Turkey with the kind of longevity which is rare in European basketball. Am I correct that when he signed for Tofas when they were playing in the second division? It seemed a very surprising move at the time.

I completely agree. Good luck to him.

Tofas has found the replacements of Phillip and Lojeski. Christon and Sean Kilpatrick are official. There is a small chance of signing a ffth foreign guy if a cheap one can be found but its more probable that the roster is being built up.

                  Roster right now

                  Christon, Ugurlu
                  Kilpatrick, Mert Konuk
                  Nuni Omot, Batin Tuna
                  Berkan Durmaz, Alihan Demir
                  Muhsin Yasar, Simmons, Ege Demir

TT Ankara made a big move this season and is obviously heading for the BCL cup from this season. Sam Dekker and former Fenerbahce PG Tylor Ennis will play for TT Ankara next season.

They already signed Kenny Kadji and Michael Eric for the big rotation. Kyle Wiltjer is also staying. For the Turkish rotation Can Korkmaz who had a very good season with Galatasaray, Erdi Gülaslan and Samet Geyik from BJK. In addition Ankara also extended the contract of Baygül.

                    The roster:
                    Tylor Ennis, Can Korkmaz
                    Baygül
Sam Dekker, Erdi Gülaslan, Göktug Bas
                    Wiltjer, Geyik
                    Michael Eric, Kenny Kadji

undoubtedly the best roster move with Bahcesehir this season in BSL

BJK signed another very young prospect. Ömer Yasir Kücük a 2001 born PG will fight for the bench spot in BJK roster it seems. His competitor is the more ready but less talented Eray Akyüz. Both are not ready for the BSL toughness though

I noticed that they'd been adding a lot of established names. I assume their budget was increased somewhat?

Yeah they want to win the BCL. They were in the final 8 this season and this season is gonna be completed in September and to be honest. This roster has a big chance to do it.

As I predicted the next big prospect Ahmet Safa Yilmaz got a contract from Bahcesehir. He is 2001 born and 207 cm tall and had a great season in the Turkish U19 league with Galatasaray, performed 18 points and 12 rebounds. Ahmet really popped out from nowhere. Never played in a youth tournament for Turkey. He showed a high IQ, good footwork and rim protection and is fairly unknown in Turkey but it will change soon.

Anadolu Efes loaned the 2001 born play maker Ömercan Ilyasoglu to Bursaspor. He is 196 tall and a pass first floor general whose development got stuck in the last years.

We can also expect Mustafa Kurtuldum 2001 born shooting guard to be loaned in the next days from Efes.

Both have the potential to be solid european player.

Ormanspor signed former Dacka player Stanton Kidd. Dont like him tbh but a good signing for Ormanspor.
