Atleast he will be used in this team. I think neophoenix is a weak team.

Thirdy can also be out scout in Japan's developmennt and basketball.

Yes. Because they are dead last last year.

        So, they get Thirdy.

I am sure Thirdy chooses this weak team because he was promised decent or great playong time

A Serbian coach. Good to know Japan, one of the most nationalistic countries in the world, doesn't have an insular and protectionist coaches association.

                  Good point.

While Japan is among the most "nationalistic" countries in the world, it is "realistic" regarding the fact that it needs the benefit of the so called transfer of basketball technology/know-how from foreigners.

In the case of Philippine basketball on the other hand, the Basketball Coaches Association of the Philippines (BCAP) just don't like the idea of having foreign coaches in the country. These people just can't accept the reality that Phi basketball has been lagging behind other countries in basketball becoz we have stagnated due to our insular mentality. Being nationalistic has nothing to do with it. Its just pure stupidity by the BCAP.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

With Ken Tuffin is now Taranaki, Thirdy in San-en and Kai in G-League, Gilas is steadily positioning itself to get more potentially reliable players outside PBA. I hope other younger prospects will follow suit.

Thirdy just decided what he thinks is a brilliant move to jumpstart his professional basketball career..I hope many more kids may follow what Ken, Kai and Thirdy are doing right now...sucks to those basketball officials whose grandpa/primitive attitude doesn't benefit Philippine basketball moving forward.

Based on google, 3 per team. With only two that can play together on the court.
