The decision not to bring him to US further adds to suspicions.

    Why?

In the US, doctors reveal extent of injuries.

In the Philippines, there is this so-called medical privacy.

The injury of JUNEMAR FAJARDO is different from PAUL GEORGE.

Doc told me yung kay PAUL GEORGE, bali. Nadadaan sa pagreconnect ng bakal.

Itong kay JUNEMAR, durog-durog. And it might need a thorough (i forgot the exact term) plating.

I spoke to one doctor and he told me situation of Junemar Fajardo’s injury might need more than a year to recover. And it is not yet sure if he’ll be a hundred percent by then.

“Kumbaga sa salamin, durog yan. Hindi lang basag yung buto. Masyado nabugbog eh. Sana mali ako!”

That is so wrong. The US also has doctor-patient privilege, and is in fact more zealous in protecting patient privacy than here, given the tendency of American patients to sue doctors for the slightest mistake.

PBA to shelve games for one week as precaution to virus threat
    https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/p...xqsMPB-_DE3p_4

At this rate, the 2020 PBA season will end Mid 2021!, they should have just played in empty arenas imo..

I don't think PBA is really earning $$$ unless it's Ginebra making it to the play-offs.

in terms of gate receipt, yes the PBA does not earn that much, but in terms of ad revenue, internet views and GAMBLING, there's too much money made

I like the nba measurements of standing up rather than measuring the players lying down. Diamond Simpson was measured at 6'7.5 in the nba and 6'5.5 in the pba.

Yes I agree with 2 conference,It will make the PBA more appealing to viewers and add to that the absence of NBA on Channel 23,

Well, what's surprising? Sam Daghles made it to the 6-foot-3 height limit for PBA Asian import. There's no way Daghles is just 6-foot-3. If Daghles is 6-foot-3, then Asi Taulava must be an undersized center at 6-foot-4

Yet a poster here insisted that the PBA height measurement on Daghles is valid & legit.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

With the indefinite suspension of PBA games amid the Covid-19 threat, the PBA's 45th season might end as late as August next year. I wonder what would that be like?

I see the PBA resuming its games soon but without live audience. At least the TV coverage of the games would give the PBA some profit (much less profit as compared to having live audience). That's better than not having profit at all as the games are suspended indefinitely.

That's how I see the PBA, its all about making profit.

It is unlikely to happen.. Maybe reducing the conference into two or maybe 1 conference only this season.. PBA needs to cope up with scheduling and it will good reason for them to reduce the conference due to crisis.. They can bring back 3 conference next season if the crisis will over..

With the pba uncertain when to return and with them being hard headed with a 3 conference season, June Mar might just return for the 3rd conference

I read at ESPN that China's CBA is welcoming back foreign players. Their timetable for the resumption of games is mid April after suspending play last January.
