Money must be very good with these ligang labas. Still, these players are clueless if they think their mother teams wouldn't discover eventually. This is the age of internet and mobile camera phones. Again, money must be really good it's worth the risk of suspension.
Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

There are a lot of money being made at these ligas. And not just in basketball.

I'm not condoning their actions, but at least ligang labas has only a fraction of the politics Gilas and PBA have.

Remember Manuel was a late addition to the Gilas pool for the 1st window. Manuel in all probability gave his committment much earlier before the Gilas call up.

For Alaska, I recall, its their 3rd player caught playing in "ligang labas" without permission from their management; Gabby Espinas, Calvin Abueva and now Vic Manuel.

Former college imports ended up in this Ligang Labas because of the lack of opportunity to play in the pro league... Thought Eloy Poligrates is serving jail time

Not to mention the drug trade and other "business" transactions happening during games. A lot of people also get shot/stabbed at thiese events.

Yup. There was a game in Las Pinas led by Egay Billiones and Al Vergara vs Sadam (mpbl) pot money was at 210K.

Poy Erram trade gets approved with revision.

BWE also included its 2020 1st rd and 2021 2nd round picks. TNT dealt away its 2021 and 2022 1st round picks.

But why 2021 and 2022 not 2020 and 2021? LOL. They will probably get back these picks from BW in the future for some role players.

    Meanwhile

    From Twitter
    PBAinsider

Ateneo repulsed TNT, 103-86, in a tuneup game at the Moro Lorenzo Sports Center.

Dwight Ramos led the Blue Eagles with 22 points.

TNT played without newly acquired Poy Erram & star wingman Roger Pogoy

How can you explain this? Professional team whether 2nd stringers or coming from the bench, still not enough reason to lose to a collegiate team and big margin at that.

I don't think so!! Remember Gilas 1 under Toroman when they are guest team in the PBA.. They actually make semis but they lost to Ginebra in a 4 game series.. These kids will be bullied by their "kuyas".. I remember one play Caguioa plays bully vs Tiu and Casio.. remember they have Douthit at that time.. While this Ateneo team have only Kouame.. Douthit is much better than Kouame 10x.. They will still lose vs teams like SMB, Ginebra or even Magnolia.. TNT didn't treat that game seriously.. But if they face again with complete roster then TNT will win..
