But that strategy will be ass f@#ked by the cancellation of ABS CBN license, no TV convertor for MPBL....TV 5 and One Sport may have too much in their plate with pBA, UAAp coverage already in their bag plus the Impending 2020-2021 NBA season...

Yeah, poor politicians for the sake @$$ licking the administration, they did not think longterm. Now that the 2022 elections is getting closer, where they will get their needed exposure? Expect GMA to be fully loaded same with TV5. But those two don't have the reach that ABS had. They just screwed themselves up.

MPBL was also covered by ABS and majority of the politicians appearing in that league favored the shutdown of the network where, in fact, this is the network that was helping them to have a name for themselves (trapos) and the league.

I think the MPBL is about to fold, first no TV broadcast partner and second, much of the team owners are severely affected by the pandemic (hey if some of the teams can't even make payroll prior the pandemic what more during this crisis). If ever the MPBL survives this pandemic, more than half of the teams might fold. Definitely this league won't survive after the 2022 elections

Anyone who follows other sports would know that false positives are possible. The NFL had one case of 77 false positives after a problem in the lab. Ideally though the player gets another test just to make things certain. The media and posters in here should wait for a confirmatory test before acting as if the PBA bubble is unsafe.

in the WNBA also, the game 1 of the semi-final series between the Minnesota Lynx and Seattle Storm had to be postponed because of inconclusive results

Well NBL and Chooks to Go are professionally run, while MPBL is just palakasan at pasipsipan lang kay Manny....Rose Montreal the previous PBA Marketing chief, now NBL executive is quite a genius, with or without the legit UP diploma.. You see NBL is doing well with expansion into Women's Por league and they have also NBL youth league...Seems like the real grassroot league...Besides all the players should be resident of the Province or City they present(on Mens and Youth competition) and with inclusion of 17 to teens also and max age of 29 yrs old only...So unlike MPBL

NBL are like your typical European pro leagues. They have Men's, Women's and age-group divisions.

Most of the teams have their own Youth teams if not all, although I think there are teams that joined only for youth competition and don't have the Seniors franchise..The fact that NBL is purely for homegrown players representing their place of origin, chances are that the management of Seniors and Youth team are one and the same...Supposedly this years Youth tournament should have been held last March but then Pandemic happened..This years NBL Youth should have been 3 age group competition, 13, 15 and 18 both for Boys and Girls, although Youth competition is only held during Summer season and not year round like.in Europe
