pitino already said that this a parody decision,i expect obradovic to do the same.
btw the match was expected to be in half empty arena. no more than 12-13 thousands would go see the match but its a parody for guys like evergreen that travel to see the match. last week against olympiakos a fan of the team travelled with his friend from spain to watch the game. if he had arranged that for tomorrow who should have been the one to blame and asks his money back? panathinaikos will of course give the money back to those who bought tickets. but will euromafia give them back the money for the flights, hotels, food, etc?

delaney is the second one to comment on this ridiculous decision. but as long as euromafia helps the sponsor's team for a comeback everything is fine for clown bertomeu and the rest of his gang.

It is ridiculous to announce it now, I agree. But if it was to help us they would announce it earlier so it wouldn't create as much (deserved) outrage. I think it is the usual incompetence of Euroleague.

I understand that the EL wants to punish the fans, but not in this way. It's not right. I would be pissed as well.

By the way, by punishing Pao it gives an advantage to Fener and disadvantage to all other teams who play in OAKA.

Decision before 24 hours from game time is really annoying. But the worst part is the penalty itself. These penalties never prevent fans doing the same thing again. Clubs must get big monetary penalties and then they must claim this from the individual fans who are responsible. If the club is paying, the fans will keep doing no matter. This, as it stands mean that I can attend the olympiakos-Khimki game this week and light flares so Fener can play their next game at Pireus with no fans.

Wow, we're lucky if we beat Pao because lack of supporters. But I don't think that will affect the game too much.

What is "too much" is relative. It will affect the game for sure.

These things have been solved by other teams and sports for many years now.

Giannakopoulos should stop complaining and take the appropriate measures: metal detectors, X-rays for bags, a normal security company. Also not be afraid to identify and ban the culprits.

Really sorry to read this. Totally unfair on you and other fans for them to penalize you by taking this decision so close to the game. I hope the appeal works.

panathinaikos is already paying back money to the people that have bought tickets. the game will have no fans

but thats all panathinaikos can do about it. will euroleague pay back the money to all these people coming from other cities or countries to watch the game? i think they dont even care judging from their social media

I am afraid that Jordi reserves special treatment for PAO on every level, not only the refereeing.

In fact this time he didn't complain at all and he didn't accuse anyone but the supporters (only the ultras) themselves. He recognized that they created serious serious problems of public order during the game and he declared that they won't be given tickets from now on. Let's see if he is able to maintain the promise.

DPG's best comment ever. For the first time, I agree 100% with him.
The vast majority of fans have become sick and tired with this kind of football/Balkan hooliganism.
