Wont be surprised if some Filfors will play One and done for San Beda...
Beda better recruit someone with Cariño's height to match up with Letran. Or if they wanna play small, they have to train a center with the skillsets of Bahio and Cuntapay.

After the NCAA Finals, San Beda and Letran met a couple months later. San Beda clobbered Letran 76-53 in the PCCL San Beda also defeated UST and UP. Made it to the PCCL Finals before losing to Ateneo.

San Beda in that game did not even lined up HS stars Rhyan Amsali, Yukien Andrada, Tony Ynot and Justine Sanchez.

Season 96 will be the last year of Muyang, Ambohot and Fajarito. When the UST transferees Abando, Bataller play in Season 97 wala na sila Muyang et al.

In contrast San Beda will still have ex Batang Gilas mainstays Carino and Bahio plus Cuntapay and Alex Visser. All standing 6'5 and above. And then there's the blue chip Red Cubs Amsali (6'3), Andrada (6'5) and Sanchez (6'5). The succession is in place as always in Mendiola. Size and talent still favors SBU.ö

oh God, Chino Trinidad probably gonna do play by play, and croos promotion might mean appearance of NCAA student-athletes to GMA programming, jusko, GMA probably would just relegate NCAA to its sister channel GMA News TV.

Letran may have an advantage in size with Pangalangan and Lantaya.

                    • NCAA officials are not in the right mind. Don't they know this are student athletes, they also study and you cannot put them in the bubble and all they do is basketball. NCAA is really backwards and archaic.

key word here is "study" hehe (as a number of fsa attend class for formality) , but i agree with you, they are jeopardizing the health and studies of these kids, parang Sorsogon bubble lang

Our basketball team was also in uncertain.. I don't know if they have still funds to support our student athletes.. Unless they have sponsors..
These are the type of people who would ban non pinoys to increase their chance of winning. They might actually prefer to have less competition..

Question is, how about the classes of the students? And their mental and physical health. Can they take it?

Are they out of there mind? this are not professionals but students. There academics is number one, and being athlete is second only. Well having been ruled by Chua really shows how much NCAA quality go down.

The article is quite sketchy. Two brackets. 5 teams per bracket with 20 games each bracket just for the elims? Thats a lot.

Its an ambitious bubble by hosts Letran. But it is doable. GMA 7 stands to gain here if the NCAA bubble pushes thru.
