If that would happen, players that bo recruited may probably think to transfer to other schools.

So Bright was living with Bo while it happened. That shouldn’t be a violation then

but shooting hoops is as only pros are allowed to do that, but definately the punishment should not be as hefty as ehat UST and NU might get

The more important question right now is what did Bright eat during his stay at the Perasol residence.

All of the players are shooting hoops you can’t really regulate that. Admu players shooting in Village courts, Kobe shooting in Ronac. The players who are stuck in the dorms are shooting in the gym

You can regulate a full blown practice sanctioned by the team

still, only professionals are allowed to practice/conduct drills, and if evidences would pile up, they would be liable (walang pinagkaiba yan sa mga tambay sa kanto na nagbabasketball during gcq), but again, UST and NU's punishment should be heavier.

The problem with all these unsanctioned training sessions is there is no precedent on how to address violations in the first place. If I remember correctly IATF only mentions fines and possible criminal charges to those found guilty of breaking these rules. I think it would be wise for the IATF and also all amateur leagues (UAAP, NCAA, MPBL etc.) to craft a set of rules and regulations with corresponding sanctions that would define how teams would conduct themselves from now on.

If it’s a private court and you are playing with members of your household. Who’s the victim here?

"According to the joint administrative order released last July, it is stated that training like an individual shootaround within the confines of home is allowed as long as there is no physical contact among participants, provided that facilities are available."

Bright may be off the hook i guess

Last Tuesday, a body sanctioned by the IATF to draft the health/safety protocols for sports got together to hear out UST and NU on the allegations. UST was represented by two lawyers, not its athletic director, not the concerned coach.

UST submitted its report to CHED, DOH and UAAP but not to PSC and GAB. Neither the PSC nor GAB insisted to be given a copy of the report. UST reportedly said it wanted to turn in the report “only to law enforcement agencies” and invoked the “data privacy law.”

Angas ng UST ah. Sana masampolan para mawala ang angas.

Looking forward to suspension and criminal charges seeing how arrogant they are.

Same thoughts also...File criminal charges to the Management , coaches and asst coaches ..Suspend the players who are in the bubble also for several games for willfully being an accomplish in the violation .Kung yung 72 yo Driver nga nagpalimos nakulong ng 12 daysdue to quarantine rules violation, what make the Coaches, management and players Sacred..

NU is thinking to hire a caliber coach but they let go easily their prized talent, what is running in their mind?

The school cannot hold back a student. If one wants to transfer, there’s nothing the school can do.

    Angry

Since 1986, the UAAP has two sets of rules. One set is applicable to seven schools while the other set is exclusively for De La Salle University.

By the way, was there a real need to bring in overpaid notary publics to the meeting? Is that part of the law firm's sponsorship deal with the Basketball team or simple intimidation tactics?

Amen. Kung La Salle yan, ora-orada SUSPENDED! Wala nang internal investigation kuno.

Itong UST, sila na nga ang may sala, sila pa ang may ganang magalit.

Nothing fits Royal and Pontifical more than a suspension kaso takot mga member schools dahil may kanya-kanyang baho na tinatago. LOL.
