If the Toroman news is true, I wonder if Coach Toroman would be willing to deal with the rabid backers and the inclusion of players in the line-up because of alumni influence. Have heard from someone that during Louie Gonzales' one year that backers would go as far as to control the rotation and playing time as well. Not the best environment to coach in.

One can always hope hahaha. If they were as patient as Ateneo was with Norman Black (took him around 3-4 years to get to his 5-peat run), then DLSU could actually manage to pull off an x-peat of their own.

He handled Barako Bull in which most of the players were rejected by SMC Teams. So i guess he can handle it. where are the rumored Fil - Ams by the way? no news whatsoever.

I believe they have a couple of players already. One is a senior high school student at Taft and another is probably doing residency as a transfer. The replacement one and done players will not materialize until after the US NCAA season and their actual graduation. If said players do not graduate, they are not considered one and done and will have to sit out a year.

Whoever takes the reign coaching DLSU may be handicap by the shallow bench but the African import will solve one of the holes on the team. Is there any player on team B that can be elevated outsid3e of Joshua David previously from LSGH? When Norman Black took over, the ADMU bench was more than decent and there were players waiting in team B. Then Black hit the jackpot at the end of his second year when he brought in Chua, Salva, Buenafe, the big guy from Faith and Gonzaga. That recruiting class was the reason Ateneo released Mike Silungan to UP.

Tab Baldwin has an enviable position. He is loosing 5 seniors but has 8 players ready to be called up without including Kiwi import big man Kade Muru and any other graduating high school recruit. Even the starters for next year’s team is almost set.

That was Vince Burke, but he did not also finish his eligibility if i could recall?. Didn't know Silungan tried out at Ateneo first.

This wont be pretty for dlsu, filipinos have a hard time adjusting to toroman, considering their expectations i dont think hes the type of coach they should go for.
