Where is Kirkness? Would have loved to see Kirkness play in the PCCL to see if he has improved.

i don't think kirkness is lined up for the pccl. i caught the ateneo uv game and the first half of the san beda up game. i saw kirkness watching from the stands. in an unrelated note, he seems kinda thin. if we're using geo chiu as a baseline, kirkness looks smaller in terms of bulk.

Gob looks like a hopeless case now that he gets a ton of playing time in a team full of scrubs going up against a relatively small team like UST.

Paraiso's minutes have gone down with the entry of talented recruits.

This is exactly what worries me. Sure UP will have a solid starting 5, but will their bench be able to sustain (or even extend) any gains made by that starting five? Note that the guys in the PCCL lineup will most likely be the ones comprising the second and third units.

ECOOIL-DLSU 2-0 na sa PBA-DL. Justine Baltazar is PBA ready, The green and white will be hard press to replace him unless Amadou improves by a lot or La Salle manage to pry Carl Tamayo away from the SM backed National U.

Good luck to DLSU after this season when Baltazar is gone.

The successor of Balty is the big man 6'7 from senior HS (Philips?)

It's gonna be hard to pry away the recruits of Goldwyn now that he's the head coach of the seniors team.

I guess Ndiaye's going to play 30-40 minutes per game in season 84

While he's a meh basketball player overall I think Bates can alternate with Baltazar at the 5 enough to give Ndiaye enough rest. It does seem like that will be a necessity though, from the limited action I've seen Ndiaye seems to always be in foul trouble.

And he's a talent of virtual playground owned by Goldwyn's brother.

Hold on, didn't Bright post that he's returning one more year? And Diouf is for Season 84? Honest question since this is the last thing I heard from them. When did that change?

From what I read, Akhuetie, Paras and Rivero are returning. Diouf and Cagulagan are for S84. Other additions are Kirkness (if healthy), Calimag and a Fil-Canadian Forward (all haven't played in the preseason).

Still formidable, but to have a chance at Ateneo or UST, they would really need the GDL brothers.
Since Joe GDL is there, that means the family has not severed ties with their alma mater. So it's more of a headscratcher why Juan and Javi skipped this season. With Javi, he probably wants to reserve his last playing year until Jordi comes up.
However, can't help but think it's Kobe and Ricci..more intriguing that way.

Plus Dowd who's probably starting at the point? Who else are the point guards for UP next season?
